I m referring to Rhb smart value card, previously called travel money. They used to have online calculator to work out how much total spend, petrol spend, utility spend and etc.

The merchant codes... why do we need to remember it for some cards?

Payonline doesn't entitle for cash back for CIMB CR if I'm not wrong.

You can't change merchant code, you can't do much because it's tagged to the terminal. So learn from experience if you don't get cash back.

no need just swipe as normal. tesco online is online transaction.

If you want to use Pay Online and get cash back, you can try applying UOB VOX or PBB VS.

I was thinking why need to remember all these.. if you tell me remember based on experience then I can agree on it as our spending habit can be quite routine monthly..

I spend a lot on online transactions so I spend more on VOX compared to CIMB CR. Pure online transactions card and can get cash back even for flight tickets.

My CIMB CR is only for below RM 50 transactions.

Shouldn't it be obvious? Prefer 5% (actually 2.9% after deduction) than 0.02%? Even if you're having the cheapest RM149+6% plan, RM2 rebate is still less than 2.9% cashback.


Sure will. Obviously will take a month to check though, unless there's a way for me to check earlier from online (don't wanna waste time/credit calling CS).

I thought can conveniently auto charge IWK bills for CIMB CR since it did say 2% rebate autopayment/SI for utilities.

Anyways if anyone is wondering, IWK bill for December has been autopaid by my CIMB CR and no 2% rebate. It falls under the 0.2% other retail rebates.

Guess still POSonline then.
