Not really I just went there to get some violin stuff. But just giving you more options. The thing is I think Bentley is quite expensive, and Chambers music has long past their glory days. Although Chambers has the very best collection for music sheet in Malaysia. If you can't find it there, just look up on the internet.

Bentley is quite pricy I'd say. 4 classes a week, 30 minutes each, meaning RM200 a month excludes GST.
if its 4 classes a week, thats a steal tongue.gif
but yea, 30mins a week...u should know that alot of music classes also requires students to do their own practice / learning outside the school.
so if u dont have a piano at home, thats gonna be another issue.
and if u do have one, then u also have the option of having private lessons.

I don't have a piano. Planning to get a digital one only after 3 months when I know I can survive. Maybe I can practice at the center itself for the first 3 months..

Do you have any recommendations on teachers and music schools? Let me know =))

i would actually suggest u buy digital one now, then learn by urself first all the chords etc.
else u can also search here - https://forum.lowyat.net/ServicesNoticeboard - and see if any piano teacher meet ur requirements

I'm 27 next year, zero basics in music and I won't take any exam. Just visited the center and met a mid age lady teacher. Errrr quite ok. I'm not sure how many piano teacher they have but there was only one during my visit.

Can I have feedback from you guys if any of you been there before? Thanks!

Checked with Chambers inside Sg Wang too. RM130 per month. Unlike Bentley, I didn't have the chance to speak to the teacher. Is Chambers ok? It's very much cheaper!

I'm working in Bukit Bintang area so try to search for music schools nearby.

you mean 4 classes a month right?

for beginner level yes it's quite pricey. other centers that already rate for grade 3 or above.

Bentley is pricey as their teachers are highly qualified with at least music degree or master with lots of performing experience.

If you want quality teaching, you can go for Bentley. Otherwise any centre has average teachers with a more affordable price.

I give private piano lesson at student's place too. Pm me if you need. Thanks!

Proper chord progression is a huge topic in grade 6-8 theory! You need a good teacher for that, it is not "basic" at all.
Opt for pop song music class instead, I think that is what you need.

I checked Yamaha at Dpluze, also around that price (RM200, 30min x 4/month)...

Never know nowadays beginner piano lesson is so expensive!

Too bad cyberjaya area it seems like Yamaha is my only choice, unless there's other recommendation

I tried youtube and think it's very difficult for me to self-learn, so most likely need a teacher..
