May I know for renewal of credit card, do i need to register once again all the current auto payment (maintenance fee, insurance, etc)?

Thanks. : )

The actual reason for the registration is that once your credit card is renewed - 2 infos will change. (Assuming that your cc number does not change) Namely your card's expiry date and CVV info.

Nothing to do about updating your other personal info as stated by another forummer - just that these 2 details will change. To note that CC card change only happens once in a few years. (depending on the card issuer, it can be as long as 5 years) Personally I don't see this as a major inconvenience as this is done once off every few years. The other scenario where cc update will happen is when you lose your credit card and you will be issued a fresh card with all details changed. In this scenario, card update is a consumer protection and should not be viewed as troublesome unless you want to give out free money to the people who stole your card!

I was summoned here. Be right back after dinner.
Meanwhile, @Ah SiAnG said what I wanted to mention and keeping up with the times - if member aromachong wishes to defend his statement, I wish to be present to do a video record his/her actions and I'll personally submit the video along with his/her information and the merchant information where this scenario occurs to:

1. The merchant bank indicated on the card.
2. VISA/Mastercard International.

I won't be judgemental and perhaps our advice will be challenged.
So I'll allow the 2 parties above to make that judgement (since they are directly providing the service to card holder) and we'll see what subsequently happens to the

1. Card holder (whovever it is ... no exception)
2. Merchant allowing the transaction to go through (with cables or no cables will not be spared)
3. Merchant bank (if they allow this typical Malaysian 3rd world mentality/class scenario to happen)

It'll be an interesting case study to watch folks. The response to the above would be world class, I can assure that.
Meanwhile all offending post will be swiftly removed without prejudice. If I miss anything or such irresponsible suggestions in this nature are bought up again, please (readers) let me know without hesitation.

UOB VOX to be specific. I will just pay the outstanding. If there are any charges, i believe can call CS to adjust it.

To put in correctly, CS will capture the transaction in dispute and pass it on to another dept to make the correction.
CS does not have the authority to make direct amendments to numbers connected to your credit card account. This is part of any banks internal security control and it'll be a disaster in the making if CS is able to do so.

That's why there will always be a delay (expect a few days) in the updates (if the complaint is valid) and the time that the card holder calls in.
