2 banks' cards actually. It's because all credit limit will be shared for the same bank. P/s: Not the same for M2Cards and Ikhwan because not sharing same limit.

QUOTE(sukitena @ Feb 7 2016, 07:57 PM) Last month i submitted an application for a credit card which has a minimum annual income requirement. As i wanted it urgently, i did not wait for my january payslip to come through for the application. I sent in my latest 3 months payslip at the time of submission, and a letter from HR confirming my annual income (to show that i reached the min annual income requirmnt). Actually, if they used the payslips that i submitted and x 12, they will not get the min requiremnt as my increment is shown only on the january slip (which i could not wait due to urgency as i mentioned earlier). Letter is just a supoorting and it is not the main document. Main documents are still payslips. I'm also a HR and usually we prepare the letter as supporting on top of their payslip.Even with my new salary increment and x12, will not get the min requirement. Therefore at the time of submission, I was solely relying on my HR letter, which multiply my monthly salary by 14 (not 12), as our company has a 2months fixed bonus yearly, no more and no less. My point is, at least in my case, i do think they are also taking into consideration othr things rather than monthly salary x12. When i submitted, wasnt even confident that they will approve my apllication. Anyway, i received the HR letter not for the sole purpose of applying for credit card. Coincidentally i was applying for home loan end of last year. Just resubmit again in March after you have enough 3 months latest payslip showing your new salary. |

QUOTE(jiun89 @ Feb 21 2016, 12:28 AM) Hi, I m new cc user, i got a question here, my credit card limit is rm4000, and the credit available left rm300++, can i still buy a rm2100++ item ? Thanks Your credit available is confusing, it is RM 300.++ or RM 3000.++?If it is only RM 300.++ (three hundred plus), you cannot but if it is RM 3000.++ (three thousand plus) then you can buy. By this I assume your "2100++" means RM 2.1k+ (two thousand plus). If your credit limit is insufficient and you really want to buy that item, you have the below choices: i) Clear your outstanding bills to ensure sufficient amount for your item. ii) Top up your credit limit by cash, i.e. pay via CDM, IBG from other bank iii) Call to bank for temporary credit limit increase but this is very tough unless you have a proper justification, like due to emergency in overseas, pay hospital bills and etc. This post has been edited by fruitie: Feb 21 2016, 01:04 AM |

QUOTE(victorywp @ Feb 21 2016, 09:00 AM) still essential 0.6% more worth for high spend unlimited. Essential after 5k will be unlimited 1%, first 5k is 0.6%.ocbc second as after first 1k at 1% you still can get 0.5% subsequently unlimited. watami after first 5k/quarter at 3% you still can get 0.4% subsequently unlimited. Only OCBC GE is that, not all OCBC cards are the same. |

QUOTE(szb @ Feb 25 2016, 10:24 AM) if my old card expired and i did not activate my new card. Any particular reason you want to do this?do i still need to call the bank to cancel my old card? Old card cannot be used anymore and new card hasn't activated yet, do you plan to cancel this card? Then, just call and cancel. No need to cancel old card, it cannot be used anymore. For safety reason, you may destroy it from your end. |

Looks like the GE Plat is not really a bad card. Will keep it then since my GE insurance is charged to it every month.

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Mar 2 2016, 02:51 PM) alright thanks. so just front page and the supporting docs. how long it takes them to send the report? Oops. I just saw you meant credit report. I printed mine from the machine, so can't advise further. That said, I don't think credit cards are loans. So, should be OK. |

QUOTE(DarkAeon @ Mar 2 2016, 11:45 PM) can you really swipe more than your credit limit if you debit your credit card with cash beforehand? Yes, it works can swipe for 1.5k provided you have no outstanding payment beforehand.for example: limit 1k, debit 500 cash. the max you can swipe is it still 1k or 1.5k now? someone argue this is possible but i have doubts |

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Mar 5 2016, 05:25 PM) those below 24k can have cards from maximum 2 issuers, not card. for those above, as high as your rating allow Er, 36k per annum and below, guys; for maximum two issuing banks' cards. Below 24k per annum cannot own even a CC, minimum is 24k per annum. This post has been edited by fruitie: Mar 5 2016, 07:42 PM |

QUOTE(edwardccg @ Mar 8 2016, 08:01 PM) Plan to check my CCRIS, we could only go to BNM and print it, right? Take KTM but you need to walk quite far in.Any cheap parking suggestion nearby the area? I am from Klang Valley There are plenty of parking spaces in BNM, you only need less than 5 minutes to print it if the kiosks are not occupied. My last visit was quite pleasant, fast and easy. I took KTM from KL Sentral since my office is in KL Sentral. |

Guys, any credit card I can leverage with booking.com? I have both UOB VOX and CIMB CR which I supposed I will get 5% cash back for online transaction.
How about cards from other banks? I also have Maybank, HLB, OCBC, AmBank, AEON and Citibank cards. Any promos? I'll use it with Shopback to get RM 60 but would like to maximize it. This post has been edited by fruitie: Mar 9 2016, 11:22 PM |

QUOTE(victorywp @ Mar 9 2016, 11:32 PM) for booking.com? none of it useful lol... because you will only swipe your cc during your stay at the hotel. now they just use your cc to guarantee your room only. they will only charge to your cc if you did not turn up on that day. QUOTE(Human Nature @ Mar 9 2016, 11:37 PM) I see. Got it. Then, hopefully my card can be accepted there. It is an isolated place in China. God bless me that time. Then, how would Shopback know if I did stay there or not? Let's say if they can't accept card, I'm going to pay with cash. This post has been edited by fruitie: Mar 9 2016, 11:43 PM |

QUOTE(victorywp @ Mar 10 2016, 12:31 AM) when you stay there, the hotel will update to booking.com because booking.com get their commission from the hotel. if they are linked to booking.com, you can almost fully sure that the hotel will have a cc terminal. Well, having a CC terminal is one thing and if it is working for overseas cards, that's another thing...My card was denied in Chengdu and Chongqing, only usable when I was in Beijing. Now this place which I'm going is far more less developed compared to the developing Chengdu and Chongqing... QUOTE(areankim @ Mar 10 2016, 09:47 AM) better get some cash, btw, under the hotel policies, it does state if they accept card, and what kind of cards. I'll definitely have cash with me, no worries. QUOTE(areankim @ Mar 10 2016, 09:48 AM) Citibank has 8%?Anyway, I will use Shopback for RM 60. |
