Personal reason ,  smile.gif I m the only one working at my household currently ,
Any banker can advice ?
I wan cash advance 6.8k,at Bank A , example Alliance then add on cash advance fee,  7.2k transfer to bank B on 0% repayment 36 months, BSN,
I not sure whether banks allow me do that?
*
Not sure if you can balance transfer cash advance as well.

It's different compared to retail spending.

And I don't think there's a 0% 36 months BT ( except for UOB for invited customers only )

Cash advances are usually out from BT's scopes. smile.gif Well, feel free to correct me.
If it works such way, I think many would have performed cash advances first and BT out. sweat.gif

Cash advance usually comes with a hefty upfront fees.

Sometimes those 3% personal loan also more worth it compared to cash advance from bank ( unless if it's promo like those HSBC thingy which I don't really follow )

End of the day, I rather just BT the excess to the card and request for cashout to CASA. At least don't kena free upfront charges.

QUOTE(Mr.Docter @ Apr 9 2017, 02:16 PM)
Err dang.

I forgot something crucial.

Approx 6 months plus ago, my credit card goes missing. Suddenly noted extra RM 650+ from phone purchase. Tried to trace yet unfrutiful. So I cancel the card straight, without paying that RM 650.

I also have installment for 3 years (paid for 6 months in time, no delay) during that time. Around RM 150 per month or so.

However after I made the cancellation, I completely forgot to continue my monthly payment.

Tried to check the balance on Maybank2U however not available.

So, questions :
1) It wound be RM 650 + RM 150/month PLUS penalties for not paying it every month?
2) How can I check the balance? Go to Maybank counter?
3) Any extra benefit that I get for reporting my card stolen and cancelling it? Other than the obvious - preventing further fraud.
4) Let say I wanna early settlement till the amount is absolute 0 and cancel the card for good, how can I do it?

Thanks in advance.
*
Technically with outstanding amount, they won't allow you to cancel your card.

The 650 if you reported as fraud, they won't charge you as the banks won't release the money to the scammer/thief asap.

But since you did not mentioned you made a chargeback dispute, it's likely for you to be penalise the full 650 + 150 per month and interest along with it.

You can always negotiate for early settlement but if you're using the installment plan directly from the merchant instead of BT, you might be asked to pay early settlement fees.

Best to find maybank and ask for the hard copy latest statement of account and settle it before more problem.

Quick question. Normally, there is a window of 6 months to re-apply in case of application being rejected. This applies for the particular rejected card only or can apply another card from the same bank without having to wait for 6 months?
*
Another bank sure can.

Same bank also can if you can submit better documents.

I got rejected once but within 3 months later I reapplied and it was approved.

Havent ok i try via online citibank or ringgitplus or booth?
*
Citibank need 1 year of experience of holding another bank's card.

If not likely automatically kena reject.

you can pay before the due date.

Yes, can utilize the remaining 10%, try not to exceed cause some banks charge a hefty fee for exceeding credit limit (instead of reject the transaction, they allow with a fee).

Maybank got safety buffer. Exceed sikit2 is okay.

the clean ctos is the free version
so just purchase my full ctos report...
found out that i have co-loan with my father with my name as borrower to buy house with public bank, approved since last year april or may.

I wonder if i can put it inside my financial commitment? but the person paying back the loan is my father instead of me...

btw ctos score is 621  orange area
i wonder if i have a better chance  applying public bank card ..
*
It's part of your financial commitment I think.

Whether your dad pays or not, your name is a borrower as well, you're still liable.

621 should be okay, mine around 500+ only but still approved for new CC lol.
