QUOTE(sj0217 @ Feb 21 2016, 06:04 PM) By the way, what I realized that the OCBC 365 MC and OCBC GE MC, both are seem like offering same features However, the 365 card come with AF charge only Yeah, the GE only has an extra 0.1% for IPP. OCBC cards damn boring Once auto debit insurance, can keep in drawer forever.. This post has been edited by Human Nature: Feb 21 2016, 06:15 PM

QUOTE(sj0217 @ Feb 21 2016, 06:18 PM) Ya, but still can use it when Watami card has max spending if this is the case, Card 365 totally useless then, I doubt who have interested to apply it The AF is killing the product. I think it was meant as an alternative for those without GE policy, before they open the GE cards to non-holders.

I booked a hotel at booking.com under 'book first, pay later' option. However, received sms alert that the full amount has been charged to my card. Is the notification just a formality but nothing is actually charged?

QUOTE(chiahau @ Feb 24 2016, 11:23 PM) Sounds like the same SOP for Expedia. I got charged full amount despite there stating will charge on XX date. Thus, I conclude that full payment has been charged despite how they offer not to charge until a certain date. The sms states the hotel name and not booking.com Anyway, I have cancelled the booking. It is under Free Cancellation option.

QUOTE(victorywp @ Feb 24 2016, 11:35 PM) no, if it's charged means it's charged. do you use any cb link for the booking? for example, mastercard link, etc? I just booked normally using booking.com Aih, have to raise a dispute if they really charged

QUOTE(victorywp @ Feb 25 2016, 01:54 PM) did you use any shopback/milkadeal link? if yes, that could be the culprit... especially if it's a mastercard/visa link. they need to charge to your card to confirm your card before they could give you the cb. nope, until now I dont understand how shopback works lol..i assume this is how that particular hotel works. At the travel section, one forumer said he experienced the same thing but it was just for authorization. Will monitor.

QUOTE(sj0217 @ Feb 25 2016, 11:12 PM) Okay, kindly update here Wa... You so fast apply and replace for Watami card, but still has no any announcement yet Have you thinking about alliance bank younique card ?? More cash back if you spend a lot compare to OCBC GE you see here: https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=78857807said existing watami will be terminated and replaced with other aeon card. so once it happen, need to arrange for prudential auto debit dy. Younique is tier based. RM1000 monthly spending is confirmed so better get the 1% or RM120 per year in pocket first.
