No mention about having to get both cards. NST news  bangwall.gif
*
actually the campaign T&C does ask you to apply both to qualify laugh.gif

// 5.1 Apply for BOTH PB Quantum Visa and PB Quantum Mastercard Credit Cards and get the card approved anytime within the Campaign Period by sending the application form to pbcs_online@publicbank.com.my / nearest Public Bank or Public Islamic Bank branches. //

In the application form, it's only 1 box for both cards. So NST is right.

for this PB Quantum MasterCard, the 5% cashback for online spending is for all kind of transaction?

what about payment through UOB Payonline for TNB and TM?

i had never use PB cc before, so can anyone please advice....

tq
*
if it follow the same logic as PBB VS, then yes, payment via uobpayonline for tnb/tm/syabas/etc is considered ONLINE.

however, tnb/syabas via uobpayonline will not qualify for PBB cashback promo which excludes Utilities.

sorry....can you please elaborate more about this "however, tnb/syabas via uobpayonline will not qualify for PBB cashback promo which excludes Utilities."

since earlier you said if follow same logic as PBB VS, it's considered ONLINE via uobpayonline for tnb

pls help as i'm new to PB cc
*
as the card's feature of 5% online cashback, then YES for uobpayonline.

however, PBB got ongoing cashback PROMO, whereby the T&C excludes Utilities, which means TNB/SYABAS via uobpayonline will not be eligible.

i said "if follow pbb vs's logic" because this is a very new card, no one knows the mechanism of the cashback mah.

so, answer to your question is based on likelihood that PBB employs same cashback logic to determine eligible transactions.

a new thread for PBB quantum should be created smile.gif

anyway, we can apply via online?
*
request hye's permission to create smile.gif

online application, definitely no. since you're already in the product page, the [Apply Now] button doesnt have Quantum card listed.

Managed to call PBB CS just now during lunch break. Was told u can request split statement / limit but for Principal and Supplementary will still sharing same CB cap.  sad.gif

then i asked about PBB VS can but she didn't answer probably just keep on repeating that for Quantum even split statement also consider one account
*
the card is so new, nobody can answer you! CS' answer is standard script, what are you expecting?

pls apply yourself + supplementary with split statement, then try yourself.

dont ask CS about PBB VS' loophole! it's not a "feature" to begin with!

yalah im thinking to deposit my cash which is supposed to pay my outstanding but offsetted by cb into a dedicated account. So at least i can see where all my 'saved' money is but so much work to do. hehe
*
it's a "feel good" feeling that you get something back as cashback.

just pay your monthly outstanding according statement amount, that's all. the cb inside already reduced the outstanding. biggrin.gif

yesterday forgot to pay my mbb cc which is due ytd, so today realized then faster go to pay..
I would like to ask, when will the 1% late payment be charged / shown in the "transaction history" of maybank2u?

noob question, 1st time late...
*
usually there are +2 days grace period AFTER your payment due date (pdd). pay today or tomorrow, still safe.

if pay via your own mbb sa -> mbb cc, it's immediate transfer.

What Are Your Consumer Rights in Malaysia?
It’s important to be aware of your rights as a consumer so you know what you are entitled to from getting refunds for faulty or dangerous goods to not being overcharged by unscrupulous traders.

If you are not satisfied with the price or even quality of goods and services you received, you can lodge a complaint with the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism. As a consumer, you are protected under the Consumer Protection Act 1999.

This applies to online purchases too, as online trading (think Instagram, Facebook and online stores) are required to be registered with Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM), and must adhere to rules of trading in Malaysia. Find out more about your rights are as a consumer below:
