Nothing to do with the current issue I was curious about? This one cakap only la.
If IRB wants to chase a person, they have the man and resources to do it without resorting to CCRIS.

Just to reconfirm -
Income derived from ASB / FD / Unit Trust / Shares = Does that helps in the application of the Credit Facilities & the maximum limit allocated? Would they consider that as an income or supplementary to the application? EG - Salary 80k Pa, investment income - 200k. Would they consider the salary + investment income or salary as main consideration and investment as a form of supporting information? This post has been edited by chiahau: Jan 14 2017, 12:33 PM |

QUOTE(1tanmee @ Jan 15 2017, 09:47 PM) am curious about this too. btw, i think things have changed. back then, share holdings can give more weight in getting loans approved. But now bank see it as too 'volatile', and places more weightage on the re-payment pattern of the applicants. in other words, ccris/ctos standings. Not an issue with my ccris/ctos.Just curious about the other income part. |

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Jan 16 2017, 12:18 AM) If I recall correctly, I think only a few banks have an "other income" section in the CC app form, which would imply that it is not a primary factor. I agree with previous comment that it's too volatile and not a good indicator of creditworthiness. I have no idea really. I usually submit salary and the usual stuffs in the PDF when I apply for such facilities.I have significant rental income but only use salary slips to support my CC applications, as l think that's all they really care about. And supporting docs for other income a bit tricky - have to use submitted income tax return I suppose? The agent usually fills it up for me. Just popped up in my mind when they don't ask for additional documents. Source of income should be rather subjective. A person can make average salary but have a good return from rental, dividends and etc which are all taxable by Government. |

QUOTE(ryuzaki_L @ Jan 25 2017, 11:48 PM) tried to apply CC via imoney website, they called and ask a few questions. I was asked if there is bank loan payment records for the past 12 months, my answer was "no", then she said it is very hard to get CC. Limited credit record history makes banks distrust new customers. Is that one of the criteria as well for applying CC as well? If you have some form of regular payment, Eg - PTPTN, you can show them you are a good paymaster and they won't mind granting you such facilities. |

QUOTE(Wongchoy @ Apr 4 2017, 10:28 PM) Usually after a minimum period of one year, with good payment record, Maybank will discreetly release the pledge from the system. Even though they still hold the FD. The code in CCRIS will change from 29 ( Secured Loans under guarantee by financial instrument) to 00 ( unsecured loans) when it happens. I learnt something new today.I'll check my CCRIS for that. Thank you for the information! So technically I can uplift the FD already and use it for some other purpose eh? QUOTE(roythen @ Apr 5 2017, 01:02 PM) Hi there.. some say 3K can apply for 3rd card, and some say need 3.6K permonth salary income... so, how can i get my 3rd card? coz now market seem got lot cashback card which i really interested... 36k per annum can get more than 2 cards d.Meaning 36/12 = 3,000 per month. However at current economy, if you got outstanding ptptn or car loan already, quite hard to get CC with decent limit at 3K income. |

QUOTE(Wongchoy @ Apr 5 2017, 11:33 PM) Well, maybe you could but I don't know. Will be paying card center a visit soon to enquire about this. Please update me about this I know you can uplift the FD if you can show your proof of income to the bank but I don't know that after they "release" the pledge, you can actually take back the FD. |

QUOTE(propertymart @ Apr 8 2017, 11:05 PM) Hi Chia, If you have the limit, why not?I still yet apply the card, On progress, Example, I got 10k limit, I withdraw 6,800 , got 6.99% P.A, at BanK A Can I Transfer all 6,800 from bank B to another bank B? If I got 0%, Or can't? Please give advice No, is still cheaper than PL if bank allow do that 6,800 + 6.99PA upfront = 7,275.32 Assuming you can get both card with 10k limit. And if you can, I don't see a reason why you need to cash advance. Anyways, cash advance got Misc fees one, so better double check properly if you ever plan to use it. I've been offered personal loans with 3-4% interest before by banks. It's not impossible if you have good credit ratings. |

QUOTE(FenomX @ Apr 9 2017, 12:24 AM) Hi guys, earlier my post was removed so couldnt check the reply due to violation of section T-1. I paid 1 day late before.Anyhow, my credit card payment was due yesterday and because i was outstation, i paid my cc a day later than the due date, im not worrying about the penalty tho it may be a bonus if they could waive it but more worrying about CTOS record. Do they have any grace period? FYI, my cc is maybank. please advise sifu, thanks! No problem, no remark at CCRIS as well. |
