QUOTE(PropertyNewB @ Nov 28 2016, 10:26 AM) Hi guys, just wanna ask how to I put in credit into my cc? I want to swipe 3.5k of ptptn debt which I can't because I think I have locked rm4980 installment for 12 months. Will I get points for swiping ptptn ? I'm using may bank2kard or should I just pay cash? You will need to pay using CDM, GIRO transfer from another bank to that credit card account. Nope, no points for Government transactions.

QUOTE(PropertyNewB @ Nov 28 2016, 01:53 PM) So to say I should just pay cash right? Since I don't earn any points. Or is there something that can be use to accumulate points/cash back? Well, if you only have that card, then not much benefits but you can at least enjoy 20-day free interest period given by all credit cards.

QUOTE(PropertyNewB @ Nov 28 2016, 02:38 PM) Problem is I can't swipe 3.5k because I have an installment that took up about 99% of my card. So that's why I wanted to credit 3.5k into that cc and thought I could at least earn some points. I guess no benefits for me then. Or do you think may bank will let me increase my limit to pay ptptn then I can use that 3.5k and park it maybe in GIA account to earn some interest lol. Banks will only increase your credit limit for valid reason and it is up to them to give or not, usually for emergency reason. This is for temporary CL increase. For permanent increase, you will need to submit your income documents for them to consider.

QUOTE(Tectorisms @ Dec 5 2016, 08:08 PM) Hello, 1) I'd like to know if I can use my mom's debit card (RHB) when I go shopping with her permission? (without her being there at the time I want to swipe the card) 2) Will they check to see if it's my debit card or someone else's? 3) If can use it, do I have write my own signature or hers? btw im 16 No. It's illegal to do it. You will be caught for fraud case. I thought there are many junior savings these days, they don't offer debit cards?

QUOTE(Tectorisms @ Dec 6 2016, 12:30 AM) With permission also considered fraud? For some reason, I don't want to open any new accounts. (Dont ask) No. Only real cardholders can use their own cards, no such thing as with permission given.

QUOTE(adele123 @ Dec 8 2016, 10:24 PM) actually nowadays, the cards come with paywave function. if confirm they have the contactless function and what you buy is less than 250 (or is it 200?), then i think you don't need to worry about 2 and 3. But still don't encourage others to use cards that are not belong to them to swipe. It's not right.

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Dec 14 2016, 11:59 AM) On random note, one of my other colleagues also recently got her PBB housing loan approved (joint with husband, and I think RM500k) and the agent offered them both PBB VS automatically. I had to tell her to ensure that they applied using the luggage acquisition offer, so that they also get free luggage! Maybe I should apply loan with PBB to get VS. You know my case.

QUOTE(MeToo @ Dec 15 2016, 12:29 PM) I didnt know Aeon has 0% BT cause most of the time there is a 1 time admin fee which I dislike. Also I usually dont owe anything on CC so BT is not attractive to me, the only BT I have was for the PBB 6 months 0% no admin fee etc... that was when I use CC for my house downpayment. MBB, AEON, PBB all having 0% BT at the moment. BT is not about owing to banks for credit cards only. If you know how to do it, you will get free loan from bank with 0% interest. Check out BT thread for discussion. This post has been edited by fruitie: Dec 15 2016, 01:55 PM

QUOTE(ycgoh123 @ Dec 17 2016, 11:17 PM) Is it all the CC application need to go through their system first only can decide whether approved or not? i tried Maybank, RHB and HSBC all rejected at the system level because of PTPTN. Maybe next time should request them to check the documents manually? Yes, all by system. If you appeal will be reprocessed manually.

QUOTE(ycgoh123 @ Dec 17 2016, 11:30 PM) Is it any formal way to request reprocess manually? have to tell them first when the time i submit my documents so they can check my documents manually after the system rejected? No way. It's all done by system. That's their procedures, the system will check CCRIS. After rejected, then appeal again manually, they want to entertain for reprocessing again it's all depends on the bank.

QUOTE(moonsatelite @ Dec 22 2016, 09:08 PM) Yes, once you've enabled international roaming then you'll receive the one time PIN's. But be cautious of roaming fees, you might end up with a big bill. QUOTE(MrLoo @ Dec 24 2016, 01:24 PM) 0.5% unlimited retail rebates, auto 3months 0% IPP(500>S<1000), auto 6months 0% IPP(5S>1000),First year annual fee waiver... Current promotion is free 28" luggage bag & laptop bag, if BT >RM5000 approved then another 20" luggage bag I see, OCBC is known for stinginess when it comes to AF waiver. You may want to take note of this.
