Please correct me if i'm wrong. ==================================================== I found in bulk section. seen now days lazy seller post their sells without any information or picture. They just advertise on their thread title only. better move to : Price & Dealers Guide Subforumssuggestion: need to set rule to follow proper format. like Garage Sales This post has been edited by yangxi: Dec 11 2006, 02:21 AM

Please point out which rule in the Garage Sales section requires sellers to provide full info on their product? The template is provided but we do not force anyone to use them
Sellers lacking info = less attractive to buyers I dont see what's the real problem here

Posting up more details might just save a few PM's on enquiring the seller/buyer.. so technically, saves traffic for LYN..

Its really up to the seller how his wants to make his template 'attractive'. Take me for example, if you see the stuff I sell. I usually make it very formal. Will include nice images and all that. But thats just because I want to attract more ppl to buy. Sometimes, I see ppl's thread just follow the template no picture no price... nothing! But they can actually say "offer me". Obviously these ppl are not really up for selling their stuff. They choose not to put enuff info, too bad for the seller then. People won't buy.

no grounds to move any of those threads to price and dealers guide.
even if my Bulk Order / Garage Sale thread has just 1 line saying "Selling notebook : please PM me" - it's still a valid sales thread.
if they don't know how to maximize their sales potential, it's their problem - as long as they don't breach forum rules.

But again.... Those type sales thread will sound fishy and we need to warn our fellow forumers also.
