Asia Regional Final set on January 31

Halo World Championship 2016 is official and it's taking the world by storm! With a total of $1,700,000 in base prize money, also backed up by crowdfunding through in-game purchases of Req packs, Halo is on the track of the current esports trend of global domination.
A total of 16 teams will be able to partake in the Halo World Championship:
- North America: 8 teams
- Europe, Middle East, Africa: 4 teams
- Latin America: 1 team
- Asia: 1 team
- Australia and New Zealand: 2 teams

Each of the regions listed above will have their own respective Regional Final event. For Asia, this is already set on January 31, 2016 with a $5000 prize pool. In order to qualify, teams of 4 will have to go through the qualification tournaments. Winning one of the tournaments can guarantee a team a spot in the Asia Regional Final.

Eligible Countries for Asia are as Follows: Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Singapore, Philippines, Mongolia, Hong Kong and South Korea
