Well, i really wonder, how do i make original size of a video...

most of the time, the movie i downloaded over the net can't gimme satisfy quality even im using good GC.

the movie only can look best in a small size in video player. If i full screen, the quality will become very bad ...

Is there anyway that the original size can be view on full screen mode ???

i think it is almost impossible to change the resolution for a video to bigger reso
we can resize it to smaller size
but i dun think it can become larger...

Set your display equal or less than 1024 x 768. If your video is less than 300px, viewing with full screen which cause it to show the "blocks".

Since the source is small, play in full screen will make it a bad thing. Not sure if resize that video will make it better.
As rule or thumb, resizing video (or even a picture) will make the final output worse (unless you're using hi-tech software like in the movie sweat.gif ) but downsizing it should give no problem.

We can change the video resolution to bigger, but we need a decoder to decode the video then we re-encode it to the quality and resolution we wants..

And Sentro, i think the main problem for u is the video quality u get from the internet, since ur gc is a good one, u dun hav to worry that's ur gc problem. Many videos from the internet has already been encoded and compressed to a smaller size to reduce the bandwidth when ppl transferring the video (in this case, many hav reduced the resolution to lower than the original resolution). That's the problem if u wanna save space and bandwidth, u have to sacrifice the video's quality a bit.. so u hav to spend a bit more time to find a compressed video with good quality..

u can google a bit about the video compression and de-compression or video encoding..

so, if u really wanna enjoy good quality video and wanna save some space, then it is better that u compress the video by urself (but u need to know what is video encoding about in the first place).. Or perhaps u r oredi expert in this field, then u can always decode and decompress the video, then re-encode and compress it again.. which takes much longer time.. wink.gif

i dont think you can make the video a better quality if u view in full-screen. like jien_xex mentioned, ur video resolution is already small (320x240 is small). and i bet that ur video is already compressed.

the only way is to try to download a bigger resolution video (at least 640x480) next time.

got black on top and bottom...

is the Xvid file you get is 16:9 reso??
coz if this type of video play in 4:3 screen
there will be black on top and bottom...

maybe your 7600GT can support high reso
therefore the quality look bad...

the better the display (GC, monitor) , u have, the worse image for bad quality video ...

because it shows the detail of the source, each dot/pixel clearly ...

get urself better video next time, at least a .H264, ~700m avi, 1.5G avi(movie) or 720 ... then u will enjoy it ...
