just wondering the sugar level contain in juice will make people getting Fat?

Wanted to ask, my tfv4 mini current set are 0.65ohm, 400F and 25-30W and power on 4v to 4.18v. the first 10 puff giving me flawless flavors and Clouds, but after cold down period and firing back and take like few heavy puff I can taste the cotton are drying up and it start to burn. open up the cover and check the coil and cotton. It seem the middle of cotton always become black and dry up.

I have a clapton on 2.5mm with 6 wrap on a snow wolf btw.

Is it my cotton that cause it or my wicking got problem, or should I lower down the setting?

I tried loosen the cotton in the middle, still it last more longer but it doesn't last me for like a day. I have to change cotton each time when I taste the flavor is drying up. I have to change like 3-4 times a day just to prevent the cotton to be burn and getting dry.

I don't know the rest of the guys here how you wick it, perhaps share some picture on ur tfv4mini wicking so I get the idea how loose and how you fit in your cotton will help.

I see, thats very helpful. Yeah previously the stock space are quite big, now the space is like the kanger coil space which very small hole to fit in cotton.

Another question, what is the preferable space you guys fit in and wire selection, I just want to continuously vaping without worry the cotton burn up too fast and flavor gone.

wow man, that's a fukin big hole. 4mm my guess your liquids drain will be fast too? buddy can recommend which site to grab some clapton I think I have to rebuild my coil, the current coil is build by vape shop.

guys what is your choice of wire for a single coil built on rda. I'm currently using clapton. How about twisted kanthal or normal kanthal is it better.

So I bought kanthal 26g, how many wrap and diameter recommended for tvf4mini? what is maximum wrap and minimum wrap suggestion?

I'm currently firing at 0.53ohm, 4.3v 400F 28J TC mode for clapton 2.5mm wire. Is it abit too high ?

My set up edited, using ipv4s and tvf4mini. I'm trying get balance between both clouds and flavors which I been doing always right now though. Also Juice PG/VG also dependent with the set up.

So far the set up I had giving me quite a sweet spot and amount of cloud I produce. just want to similar back the firing I had with kanthal. I want the wire to cool down much more faster compare to clapton. Correct me if I'm wrong but clapton are pretty slow on cooling down.

Guys how do you clean ur SS coil?

Hey guys, Just bought some ss316L wire. Wanted to know is it able to fire with ips4s ( Power mode or TC?), what is the recommended wire build for it? using tv4mini tank.

Yeah ipv4s, I just built one 2.5mm 6 wraps. using in power mode definitely but i got a problem with the ohm reading. initial reading is 0.53 ohm but it will jump to 0.55 to 0.58 and then dropped again to 0.53-0.54. and voltage will be up together doesn't seem it reading the the correct ohm. tanks getting hot if chain firing. flavors still ok, alot clouds too but I can't find my sweet spot. been firing from 20w up to 28w.

My other kanthal build 10wrap firing on TC mode 4.4v 350F and 20J got my sweet spot there. Same juice that Im using.

Oh really? Is fine with my built then? I love the SS built though it gave me a very crispy taste and clearer clouds produce and hardly burn my cotton too. think I will swap between both kanthal and SS from time to time then. Clapton doesn't give me a good shit like those two.

What are the recommended wrap and diameter size for SS that I can try on my tank?

I been playing with the mini for quite sometimes, I finally manage to ensure the clouds and flavors are more towards my expectation, first thing first you have to check your coil first, have you triy other coil and test it? I been using clapton from rba 2.5mm 7wraps it take too long to cool down that's why your cotton getting burn easily. Then I changed to SS coil 2.5mm 7 wrap 0.4 ohm it doesn't burn my cotton when I continuously firing but after a long day down it still burn my cotton maybe because I'm using fruity juice that has more sweetness that will caramelize when I vaping whole day long and the flavors gone what it left is sweetness and clouds. Even you change your cotton in your first 10 long puff the taste is still there but following firing and puffing you will notice the flavors become thinner and tasteless.

I have list down the thing I try with my observation during my own testing
1. Cotton ( stock cotton or cheapskate cotton are easily burn and dry, I bought myself the muji cotton and UD cotton for testing my verdict muji are more reliable and it doesn't dry up easily when you continue puffing. and doesn't break into two piece too. other cotton like I mention it break to two piece when I change my cotton and some other cotton that I bought from vape shop that some fkin shit cotton it easily dry up and it burn easily too )
- The way you wick your cotton is important too, This one I think you have go through the learning curve to get the right wick
2. Coil - I have tested with 2.5mm clapton(7 wraps), 2.5mm SS (7 wraps), 2.5mm kanthal 10 wraps), 3.0mm SS (6.5wraps), 3.0mm kanthal ( 7wraps)
- My personal choice is 3.0mm SS and 3.0mm kanthal ( I have two tvf4 mini thought)
- the rest of the mention built that I had, it give me dry burn and burned my cotton easily than the two of my choice
Right now both of my built doesn't gave me any dry burn or burn my cotton, especially SS it can last the whole day without any brownish juice came out or stain in the cotton it does have brown spot due to caramelize but I think that is normal because of more sweet taste juice that I using.

3. I separate my juice from SS and Kanthal, I will vape my fruity juice in kanthal and creamy in the other SS build, so far only kanthal will give me a little burn taste perhaps I fire it in more higher wattage so it quicken the caramelize process, and the other SS build my creamy flavor and cloud stay on whole day without changing cotton. I think it can last for another day without changing and cleaning up the tank.

Hope I explain it well but that's my own testing and try and error, hope you able to find your solution though, is a long process to get the right taste of your own tho. Haha

Woo Long writing sorry, to sum the whole story, your coil type/ coil placement, cotton, juice selection, the power / Temperatures that you choose are all the major factor that how you able to get on your right spot. ( The sifu here teach me a lot though sorry if I ask alot stupid question previously). Forgive me but I didnt start from a starter kit The first mod and tank I got is a tvf4 mini and a snow wolf I have to learn all this from scratch. lot of painful shit in the process but I like how it turn out now.


Getting myself the Crown to play with soon haha.

Normally brownish because of caramelize, you using local fruity juice? they have insane amount of sweetness that easily caramelize.
