Sorry to ask, I just did an vertical coil on tfv4 single rba but my wick doesn't seems as full as some guru here posted(is it TristanX?) without issue with chimney. Would you able to share how you manage to squeeze so much cotton there?

I'm using two small piece of cotton. One for the glory hole and another one to wrap around the coil. 😏 Is that the correct way?

QUOTE(andyng38 @ Dec 16 2015, 04:01 AM)
In the quiet of the morning, when the world is still
I brew my precious brews all free from diaceytl
Breathe my beauties, breathe in the clean cool air
Steep and oxidize while the world's unaware

Patience is key to all and it's the absolute word
A daily ritual where they're all shaken, not stirred
From lightly tinged liquid comes a golden hue
Taste and aroma metamorphize to something new

Ugly ducking to swan, phoenix reborn aflame
This newly-matured recipe still hasn't got a name
New cotton in, 6 drops vaped then 6 drops once again
A smile appears on my face, wide as the savanna plain

Decant some into a bottle, sign off on the worksheet
This yet unlabelled juicy juice sure is a tasty treat!
The product of many failed versions which tasted like crap
Made numerous adjustments, added a bit of this and that

Pending big bosses approval, one day it'll hit the stores
There's one thing that bridles me like a cantankerous sore
Whether it sells in modest volume, or becomes a big hit
No customer will ever know that I invented it.  sad.gif

When it's labelled definitely the price shoot up way high. Before that, come sell us some. I would love to try your tobacco flavor.

DIY Gambit ready in 2 days. Hopefully it is close. Anyone doing drill service? I wanna add some holes to my TFV4 TF-R1 RBA for more juice channel.

Would love to drill that too. Saw someone in the states uses a dremel and cut two holes, pretty neatπŸ‘

TY  smile.gif Sorry that particular juice is not my property. My bosses have their own group of ppl to taste test. It's a bit of a complicated biz arrangement between me and them.
I hope you're not the guy in a recent post who was contemplating using 22% apple pie flavor  biggrin.gif Too high a % can cause your taste buds to overload n shut down. Be patient and wait...don't toss yr juice just yet. Creamy custards can take 3 weeks, and tobacco flavors even more time. To speed up yr DIY, try putting the juice in a heat-resistant container and letting it sit in a crock pot @ 55-60C for 2 hrs, then taste after it's cooled down and left overnight. Repeat the next day if necessary. Want it even faster and better? Look into homogenizing equipment...they're very expensive though. But despite fancy gear, natural ageing is still needed. As per the MSDS of the ingredients, my stuff is diacetyl-free...it's up to the bosses if they wanna make that claim and get it lab-tested or not.
TY smile.gif
That juice in particular is unfortunately not my property as it was developed using other people's resources and lab equipment (part of the biz arrangement), so I can't sell or give it away..sorry! It's gonna be taste-tested @ 3PM today. If approved, there'll be 9 recipes of mine in total that they'll produce.

However the gudang garam surya flavor is 100% all mine, developed in my kitchen  biggrin.gif ...will be working on the 24th version this week once certain ingredients arrive. I've had requests from my motley crew of kretek puffers for a slightly heavier tobacco blend. I think they're just wanting the taste of real tobacco burning (and that's tough, if not impossible to recreate in a flavor), but I'll do what I can.
Ty smile.gif I'm not into selling juices per se...more into developing recipes.
*
Nevertheless, good luck with the taste testing sessions. Hope it goes well and we'll be waiting for your teh tarik 🍡 πŸ‘.

On a side note, when my ss wire works, it seems really good. But when temp control not working, it's a pain in the ass imo. For those trying vertical coil, don't peel off the first layer on your cotton and use that as the base. Else you'll have to rewick it again when cotton goes all the way through your coil. πŸ‘

Yesterday bought the Griffin RTA rm90. Today go buy clapton wire from Vape69 for rm45 (why is this wire blardy expensive?).. Also bought Five Pawn Grandmaster (had to buy 12mg bcoz thats what left) from them, costs me RM88. Total damage rm223.. Then just now tried to coil the RTA with the clapton, only to find it is not as easy as i thought to use the wire.. After a few trial, wasted 5 strands of the blardy expensive wire, finally done with the build at 0.26ohm...

Then tried to vape it.. I feel like crying.. cry.gif

Cry bcoz it caused damage to my wallet, also cry bcoz the 12mg is too strong (usually use 6mg).. But most of all, bcoz it feel so nice! laugh.gif a few vape makes me feel like i had a plate of nasi lemak with lot of kacang in it.

Hard work paid off decently. laugh.gif

Holy crap, that looks amazing! I'm very attracted to things that are great in aesthetic value and the griffin tank with the black rx200 just nail that. Please take down the picture before more people get the poison. rolleyes.gif On a side note, just went to some local vape shop and bought myself a Jade Ice by juice machine. Quite nice except the flavor not really strong or we actually spoiled by those over-sweetened juice here? laugh.gif There's a quite a number of vape shop that closed down without a single display shelves anymore here in Johor Bahru. Things couldn't be more serious here.

Just got my velocity clone not long ago and been wondering where does the flavor goes. Dont get me wrong, the taste and cloud is okay but not just as intense as my tfv4. Both are running dual coil 0.2ohm and tfv4 is on 50/50 while the velocity 30/70vg juice.

Would really need someone to shed some lights on how to get better flavor out of the velocity.

Theres your answer.
Juices with high VG content are generally less flavourful when compared with high PG juices.
Try running both with the same juice. I never really liked the velocity IMO its more of a cloud atty than a flavour atty even with the smallest afc.
IMO velocity is slightly better in terms of flavour when compared to a kennedy comp with similar afc.
Try higher wattage, when i was using the velocity my daily setting was 0.3 with 70w.

Thanks for the information. No wonder hard to come by liquid in the market using 30/70 ratio. Just doesn't taste that great imo.

In your opinion, which is a better rda out there in the market currently? I might want to put this velocity aside first as it wasn't a Tobeco clone, top cap just came out too easily.
