couldn't wait to try the griffin, cancel sleeping and work on the coil, unfortunately i don't have clapton coil, so just use 26G.. my coil was sloppy build, but first impression i have to say this could be the best tank. the juice taste is very clear and tasty, with nice vapor production.. that with just my sloppy build.. gonna find clapton coil and rebuild soon, i think it will be better.. i think the deck and tank system are very cleverly designed, i think this will never leak! (the part which i quite hating my Uwell Crown, if wick doesn't done properly, it will leak).. it is very easy to do the wick.. no brainer i will recommend this tank to anyone anytime. the deck is really big tho, huge.. using kanthal there are a lot of space.. really should use clapton on this.

The deck were originally from velocity. Then some tanks adopted it, includes crius. Groffin also using the velocity deck but bigger deck.

It doesnt leak at all on my griffin for first trial. Because the deck is big, it just leave a thin layer of juice between the deck chamber and the glass tank, hence juice does not overflow.. Clever design

Yesterday bought the Griffin RTA rm90. Today go buy clapton wire from Vape69 for rm45 (why is this wire blardy expensive?).. Also bought Five Pawn Grandmaster (had to buy 12mg bcoz thats what left) from them, costs me RM88. Total damage rm223.. Then just now tried to coil the RTA with the clapton, only to find it is not as easy as i thought to use the wire.. After a few trial, wasted 5 strands of the blardy expensive wire, finally done with the build at 0.26ohm...

Then tried to vape it.. I feel like crying..

Cry bcoz it caused damage to my wallet, also cry bcoz the 12mg is too strong (usually use 6mg).. But most of all, bcoz it feel so nice! a few vape makes me feel like i had a plate of nasi lemak with lot of kacang in it.

Hard work paid off decently.

I can't find any flaw yet.. Workmanship imo very neat.. Similar to my uwell crown..

The only potential issue i learn about this tank is not too over tighten the top cap and the tank to the base.. It doesn't need to be screw until it hard stop. How to explain, it starts with screw threads and at the end there is o-ring, once u screw until reach the o-ring, thats enough..Happened to me this morning, the juice flow control stuck, and when i want to remove top cap to suck out juice, the middle post got unscrew instead and my juice spill out.. Then i need to disassemble everything.

Currently firing 50watt.. One thing about this coil tho, it quite slow to get hot, and then when it hot, it really do, and it takes sometime to cool down too.. Tank get hot.. Or maybe its just i did this coil wrongly

its "thunderhead creations" clapton wire, 28/24awg, is that ok? i really don't know which one is good, i just grab and buy

i'm browsing around for choices of clapton wire, but i'm not sure whta AWG i should buy any guide?

ya initially uses coiler hence wasted some wires, end up using hands better..

so far no dry hit, but it always gives some popping juices when initial fires, which i dislike, so i pulse for 2-3 times then only i vape.. and i think this thing suck up juice fast!

1 thing i really love about the griffin compared to my uwell crown is that i can remove the tank with the juice inside so that i can work on the coils.. this will really minimize juice lost

On the crown the bottom of the tank is open ended, can be removed by put it upside down, but still lose some juice from the bottom

is it common when using clapton coil always got popping? i did recoil several times, always pop pop when vaping, which i kinda dislike coz feel rough..

this griffin, eventhough i close the juice hole, and keep on vaping, the cotton never gets dry, and the liquid seems like still sipping into the chamber, weird... if i keep the holes open, juice ran out quite fast.. there is no apparent leak though.. but maybe juice overflooding the wick inside, hence the popping sound.. maybe my wick is not properly done yet.. still experimenting on this

ya i agree.. and i'm using five pawn grandmaster which is 50/50 liquid, which is quite thin (less thick compared to the other liquid i have)
