Hi there, we went to see Jardin today and quite like it. Only concern is the schooling arrangement for my kids. They will be 7 and 4 next year and we work around PJ areas.

Was thinking sending them to school near BSC, either Wesley or the SJCK nearby. But wonder if there are options for after school daycare, where they will help pick kids from the school? We were rounding the commercial areas in BSC and Eco Grandeur, can’t quite find English-based kindy/daycare centre. Wonder for those with younger kids, how do you guys manage this? Thank you in advance.

Hi all, found some updates on schooling arrangements for BSC residents and thought of sharing here.

- Primary school at SJKC Ijok : all morning classes
- Primary afterschool daycare (monthly from RM450) : Tadika Sejati Ijok (Mrs Lai 012 921 1314). They have 2 branches :
a) Ijok (near the primary school itself)
b) Desa Coalfields (near BSC, ie. Behind KIP Mall area)

I personally felt the travelling to and fro SJKC Ijok by ourselves not really convenient, because from Jardin <> Ijok is about 10km+ per way. So in totality we need to drive about 40km for sending and picking children.

But fret not, I’ve found a transportation service :

- Transport (from monthly RM220, can get contact from Tadika Sejati Ijok) : There’s an auntie who can pick your child from doorstep (Jardin) and send to SJKC Ijok, and send back to Tadika Sejati Desa Coalfields branch for afterschool daycare.
(if you choose Tadika Sejati at Ijok branch instead, the transportation fee should be lesser because very near to SJKC itself, less than 1km)

For those with young children and considering/buying BSC, hope the above helps 😉

Hey yup, Caledonia is cheaper but next to the Chinese cemetery and further up from Bandar Seri Coalfields (BSC).

You will see it when you travel from BSC to Ijok.

Erm I would believe so but some people may not be that particular, especially when lands are becoming scarce at prime areas.

Apparently it should be launched this/next month.

I think so, best you can try drive around that area. Or maybe check from Google map
