Of late no more smell. Before this, it is also not accurate to say that this area has shit smell because we have been staying here since house delivery of Banyan semi d but we only get the smell once in a while. I guess it must be only when the wind direction shift this way but I assure you that that happens far in between.

When we went to Developer to buy the Banyan semi d, we saw the whole area plan of displayed units marked sold for most units, except the few large expensive corner units, one or two odd land shape ones, several next to sub power stations and several junction homes. After we moved in, we saw mostly junction units plus very few intermediate units occupied, compared to so many still up for sale till now.

We once met 2 guys who said they are working as brokers to sell these units. Why still unsold?

I never suspect a developer will " call back" a potential customer like that.
Lucky we have bought a unit that we find comfortable from whatever were on sale that day. No regrets staying there. This may sound like I say good things for pride sake. In fact, I complained about the long driving distance, but now no more. Why? I saw some youtube videos peole posted about how tiny their apartments are in Hong Kong. Mind you they earn high. It is just beyond many Malaysians' imagination. If you love to own a property here, but find the price at urban centers too high, you should go rural. And the sooner the better for prices tomorrow may be higher. Despite the cons, I must tell you that I realise it is a luxury for what I have as a house. It makes me feel good the moment I enter my home.

These SKJCs are only about 5 to 10 minutes drive from Bandar Seri Coalfields. About 7 km. Distance only. No jam at all. If you stay in town, the time taken to send your kids is about the same.

Have stayed in BSC for a few years already and this is what I find nice:

1. Many worry about the air quality such as chicken dung smell, oil palm smoke etc. But none is affecting here. The palm smoke is treated and emitted by chimneys at great height. You can’t smell at all. Air in BSC is clear. Free from any smell. As proof, please come, sit at Restoran Al Yusof for a few hours and find out. It is 23 hr. open. There is free fast WiFi there and the food is very good. Delicious satay, ‘ rojak’, mix Rice etc. KFC is 2 minutes away, Mc Donald’s and petrol stations are 7 km or 10 minutes drive. away. Also 24 hr. Fantastic for retirees.
2. Currently, BSC is lacking in big malls. Still, can drive smoothly to town without traffic jam in the afternoon. The morning work hour jam is only when you reach near to town area. This jam is also suffered by those staying in towns. We pay much more for petrol, tol and car servicing but how else to own a big spacious home. The price at BSC is half of town properties! I am talking of a 1/2 million savings.
3. Many think that BSC is insignificant but it is actually a huge grand town looking modern new housing project in a rural setting. It’s main entrance look outwins even Desa Park City, an expensive area 1/2 way nearer to Petaling Jaya.

No plastic smell at all at Banyan 1. Easy to prove this if you just sit at Restoran Al yusof at the phase 1 entrance. Good WiFi there. Been staying here for last 6 years. Planes fly high overhead by the time it reaches Phase 1. No blasting noise.
