I seen some stupid guy copy paste my thread (picture + information) use their own sells. without inform me.
And I already report , but nobody ignore this. (~ 1 month)

so, how do avoid this problem ? Does very picture need put watermark and words need in picture format ?

ZOMG... you're right. This fella copied exactly from your thread. What I do usually is I PM the person who steal my post design and see what happens. If he dun reply/change, I will report user to Admin.

complaint also no use... they will ignore this.

admin will told u , those information are copyright and also open to public.
but we might summaries own words or picture to attract customer

i wonder if he's legitimate since he''s using someone elses' pics.. maybe he doesn't even have the items

there was onetime some people used the same picture image and linked directly to my album.. so i just replaced the picture with a nude gal and renamed it to same filename so other fella post will show some nude babes..

btw its good to put watermarks

good idea, unfortunately the fella download and uploaded to another domain himself...
watermarks(small names like lyn uses) are sort of useless, unless it covers the whole pic... ppl can just crop it....

you dont put watermark in ur pics and you complain ppl using ur pics? next time waste more time doing watermark, hor adik.

since you 'boh song' he using your pictures, you approach the fella la.

the issue is between users, not LYN's problem if someone uses your pictures. we don't encourage people to do like that.

anyway - did you even attempt to convince the fella yet?

You may not like him using pics you took yourself, but it's not illegal to do so and there are no rules around here preventing that

Sigh, yangxi, before complaining about someone "copying" your sales thread, let me ask you this. Did you recieve permission to use content from the FUJIFILM website? Cause if you look at the bottom left of the Fujifilm website it says "(C) 2006 FUJIFILM Corporation" and if you read the terms and conditions found here http://www.fujifilm.com/terms_and_conditions/index.html I think you'll find that material is not "open to the public" in the way you think it is.

I don't mean to be insensitive, so if I come across as such, I apologise. I truly sympathise with your situation, but I have to tell you frankly, there's not much we can do. We merely provide an environment where a user of this forum can sell his wares (at no charge too).

Here's a suggestion; have you tried changing your style? Something that isn't easily copied. For example, try typing out your sales pitch and then save it as a JPEG (using the Prt Scr button then pasting in Paint), then use a watermarking program to emblazon a watermark so big and obvious that it's near impossible to just erase the watermark and use without your permission.

It's a lot of work, but it will pay off.
