With many projects to VP these 2-3 years and considerably bad times you will start seeing people move in. Previously many buy as investment to rent and flip but since market will slow down hence it may encourage people to start moving into Cyber. I personally like Cyber for own stay but since there's uni there you will also see many non locals here. But most I believe are real students so it's a good blend and boost for businesses

I think if all that is planned are in schedule (Chinese school, hospital and CCC) Cyberjaya will look very appealing in the next 5 years or so. What used to be strictly Silicon Valley setup it now moves to be a more self sustained township. The only thing I personally do not like is way too many SOHO type of development. I go Cbj almost on a daily basis and I really like how well it's being maintained - clean, nice landscaping and hardly see people simply park or ah Long sticking "borrow $1000 get $980" or "ubat lelaki kuat" type of low class advertisement. At Starbucks/cafe I see students group studying or groups of friends/colleagues hanging out - no rowdy drunk people talking really loudly or anyone selling you big sweep or fake DVDs. Sometimes can cuci mata see young students of local and foreigners.

McD is not really into burger business but also real estate. That's why their business model is highly successful. A McD in a place means their business development people have studied the place and felt it has high potential to support its burger business hence that's why they prefer an individual plot of land. Land is gold. However where they cannot get the land then it's really the prediction of the population and growth potential. I don't see face value only. It's a strong indication on real estate potential in that area.

None that's why so many companies setting up their IT hubs there. IT talents are all over the place and the government is throwing in tax incentives as well. However I feel it will be suicidal for ALL companies to close their service centres in CBJ and Manila and move to Bangalore. There is still value doing business in Malaysia. Our competitive advantages is we are able to converse not only in English but also other languages. Our ringgit has devalued so it will increase the attractiveness also. Environment wise we are free of major natural disasters and politically also many angry with government it's still stable. Business is a long term deal and many considerations same as property investment. Like I mentioned before no man can force you to buy something if you don't like but if you keep trying to pick on small things it may be reflective if you have a hidden agenda. Just my 2 cents

No la already 2 years plus. Now many people hang out there. Weekday office workers during lunch and weekends I see students and also families coming here. Food wise not an issue to survive but unsure about other retail outlets. I was hoping for groupon to hold some deals for CBJ restaurants but so far very very few.

How about D pulze? Opposite of bus terminal and near to Dpulze mall and restaurants at CBD. If wanna go town can take bus to Putrajaya sentral to go KL Sentral or even KLIA

I think night population is no longer an issue its only weekend it's quite deserted. Cyber is the few places where restaurants don't open on Sunday's because low number of customers.

As a future resident my deep selfish thought is the residential population don increase so much. I am happy that the day population is high enough to sustain and bring more good business in here and at night and weekend let this place have some peace and quiet as what a residential place should. Do I aspire this place to be congested like PJ or Puchong day and night?? Honestly no lo.
