After reading your post.. I may conclude as per below:

1) Digi or Maxis ? At first you said you due with Digi Staff and then out of sudden you said Maxis line registration issue ?

2) If Maxis line, why you purchase the phone/line via Digi staff ? Kind of weird?

3) Why you purchase phone and line not at Digi or Maxis Center but not at Starbucks? and why you just provide all your information like IC, phone number, Credit card details to a person you first meet ?

4) Do you know what is the procedure for changes/suspension line for call center, like what others said before, with you full name, IC, address etc, I can call to any bank or telco which you having account with and proceed for any request as I wish ?

5) Be careful next time

From what you reply..for number 3.. I am getting more confuse.. If you complaint for Maxis.. why out of sudden said what subsidies phone from Digi? does it related to this issue??

And also, I just check with my friend working at telco call center or even bank.. if you manage to provide the details for verification, of course they will proceed to block/suspend as per request, as long as you have passed the verification process, from the point of law, they are doing nothing wrong, and everything is recorded.

I believe it is not only applicable for Maxis, but all others call center as well.

The moral of the story is, protect your personal details.

but i'm not trying to highlight this guy working in digi or the subsidise phone. what i'm trying to say is and also like what you say above all the telco need verification in order for them to suspend our line, correct or not? but for my case the scammer only need to provide my phone no and ic no. and no recording for that as well. don't you think the telco need a more stringent verification process like asking for our address, how we pay our bill or maybe give us account holder a return call to verify?

How can you misuse others people account for registration without their concern and you know it at the first place but you still proceed vmad.gif

Again, for the maxis center suspend your number, as you have provided your details to scammer at the first place (IC, address, Full Name, Credit card details etc.. ) As long as the scammer manage to provide those details, of course the call center staff will proceed for the suspension as per request doh.gif

I dont think the story and post you share benefits you in anyway...
