Seeing how the forum is getting flooded with some very similar questions, this sticky will hopefully provide answers to some of the more common questions, worries, and thoughts.

• What will the price be?
GUILTY GEAR Xrd -SIGN- will have a launch price of $29.99 backed by a first-week discount at 20% bringing the price down to $24.

• What about DLC? Characters? Stages? Voices?
All DLC is COMPLETELY FREE the first month. Can also be unlocked by using the in-game currency.

• What is the "BIG BANG BUNDLE" people are talking about?
This is not an intended item, but rather something dug up on 3rd party site. It should be ignored.

• Is the game updated? Latest patch?
The game version on launch is expected to be 1.1 (latest) as indicated by the UI in the screenshots.

• Will the game have lobbies?
The original "lobby" system featuring walking avatars has been replaced with standard rooms. Refer to the official store page screenshot[cdn.akamai.steamstatic.com].

• Crossplay with consoles?
Crossplay with console versions is unfortunately unavailable.

• How is the netcode? Rollback GGPO?
State of the netcode is currently undisclosed - expect console equivalent.

• What about non-Windows OS support? (OSX, Linux, SteamOS?)
So far, only Windows support has been announced.

but i really love that game.
a bit disappointed with blazblue franchise though.

point is should I buy it straight away or wait for winter sale?

If you got a PS4 and can get the latest game then don't buy this..
But in most case i would say yes as DLC is free month.

Xmas sale is nearby i say hold your horse for 2 weeks.

First week already 20% discount...

If wait for winter sale might not be cheaper since this one allready a good offer and dlc on later month is literally the price of the game plus somemore.

Edit: overall a good port expect low res 2d ui and network mode region problem.

I just wanna clear out the misconception which is the scene for this game being "dead". It's not.
A small but dedicated group of us have been playing Xrd since console launch, and with PC release we recruited even more people. We organize offline sessions in KL(Sunway Area), but we play online for the most part.
