Just sharing, maybank Singapore also sends tac for login. They can even take this further to allow you to use a physical token generator. I believe most banks, if not all, in sg does this out of regulation. It's extra security.

I locked in 5 years @5% about 8 years ago, interest every 6 mth. Then about 3 years ago, it matured and renewed to 4.75% for 5 years, interest every 6 mths. The so institution is MBSB. I just checked their website, there's no more 5 years FD anymore

i just opened a Mach moneybox account. My old ATM card was like too old, e.g. 6 years ago, so somehow it cannot be used to open Mach. So now I have a new Mach debit card, but this card cannot see my HLB CA. So I have to use both the old ATM card and the new Mach card now. It's ok for me because I am going to close my CA account soon, which is also my housing loan CA.

Another thing to note is that fresh funds thingy.....if you have funds in other HLB accounts, you can just use HLconnect to transfer to Mach money box, then create FD from there.

I just hope they extend the 4.5% promo. Need some more time for funds to come in.

In my opinion, both also not good.
1. Free IBG comes with condition, e.g. RM1000 balance.
2. sky high 1.8% only for RM10k above balance. Better create a junior account (if you have a junior), transfer there.

No more HLB Mach 6 mths @4.5%

I logged in to check, no more 4.5% option.

I have checked HL connect, there's no 4.5% FD.

Anyone placed FD at Mid Valley? Is it a full fledged branch that accepts FD? I am thinking of going there this weekend to place 4.5% FD.

I just done 4.5% 6mths with hlb mv, no queue. Gave them a check from mbb, maturity on 15 Aug, I can see immediately in hongleongconnect.
