Anyone here using IRC for Mac? Is there such thing anyway and how to use it? I did find some shareware on the web but couldnt figure how it works, havent been using IRC even on Windows for a long long time....

I'm sure u be able to find an IRC client for Mac. Er, if u haven't been using IRC for a long time, why suddenly decide to start using again?! Hope u find one - I distinctively remember there was mIRC available for Mac many years ago.

I find Colloquy to be quite user-friendly when it comes to people who are new to IRC. So this app may interest you. Personally, after looking at various IRC apps I find Snak to be my favourite. Reason being it's similar with mIRC which I've basically used for a long time back then. Now, I rarely use IRC anymore... Mostly IM only lol.

Thanks.. I did find some IRC similars but mostly sharewares and tried some but no idea how it works, kinda like infected with the Windows IRC counterpart interface. Haha..

Anyway will try these out and see..

Just nothing to do, wanted to try IRC on Mac.. Wonder if they do talk on the same channels as the Windows counterpart.

I've a feeling ur gonna find the same people on the same IRC channels just like when u were a Windows platform. Well, if u prefer the Windows interface then just bootcamp XP and use mIRC from there
