As you can see over half of all the users posting in Consoles Couch -> Xbox have a gamercard.
Which contains the Gamertag that can only be made through Xbox Live. And this is a Malaysian board. To sum it all up YES |

yes..it totally is...but im not sure if u can call it a "legit" connection
most of us are forced into using bogus addresses i.e. singaporean/US address my advice, ask a relative or a friend that stays in any location that has launched LIVE if they mind loaning u their addrress  |
