excuse me..can anyone help me clear my doubts.im a final year accounting student frm private uni got full exemptions frm MIA but is it a COMPULSORY to work in audit firm first for 3 years before i get my CA or chartered accountant title ? can i start working some where else like in a bank or comercial side as internal auditor..?? i dun like working in audit firm becos it's like im wasting my chances to get high paid..maybe can get experience but i think i must grab my chances in commercial b4 it closes rite..maybe there will b no 2nd chance.

yup coolly.i checked MIA website and this is what they stated..


Passed any of the final examination specified in *Part I of the First Schedule of the Accountants Act,
1967 and gain 3 years of working experience in the service of chartered accountant
or in a Government department, bank, insurance company, local authority or
other commercial, financial, industrial or professional organisation.

yah...how if get exemption from MIA same time when grad...can work in the bank then ? will get CA ?? pls explain k..thanx.i kno its gud to start with audit firm bla bla...hehe..but i want to work in bank now..can i continue and get the CA after 3 years ?
