Did Paul pass all his external core papers ??

He is a miracle !! He fails his internal papers but pass all the 4 papers (Part 2 & optional Part 3). I met him & he proudly told me that he pass all the papers he sit for. (Actually, I didn't really know him, quite shock he talk to me.)

TARC lecturers on core papers is pretty poor!!
Paper 3.6 lecturer not bad la.

For those that in Accouting field, how u sharpen ur skills or interpersonal skills to climb the corporate ladder ?? How much ur salary increment u get after probation or what position u r after 3 years of working??

An Accountant get as little as RM4,000 while a lot of IT Programmer or Engineer can get around RM3,500 after 1 or 2 years of working?? DO U THINK THAT IT IS BECAUSE ACCOUNTING IS NON INCOME GENERATING UNITS (Other than Bank or Audit Firm), therefore we are underpaid ??

I WAN U GUYS OPINION !!

U certainly doesn't visit [JOBS & CAREERS] , most of them claim tht fresh graduate Engineer is RM2,500-2,800 standard pay. Exceeding RM3500-4000 after one or two years.
The Threadstarter,an average result fresh graduate (2nd upper) get RM2,300 salary & complain HOW LOW THE SALARY IS !! If so, ur friends are certainly the bottom line compared to THEM. (Actually, my friend who is a engineer graduate who is receiving a pay cheque of RM2,800 just working in customer service answering complain & questions fr customers.) Some even get RM3000 as their starting pay with GOOD CGPA

I sat 4 papers before...

Then, I fail all the papers as a full time student.

U r working, right ?? Not really recommend u to take 4 Part 3 papers unless u can take at least 2 month leave.(Part 2 is managable)

Certainly, if u r Smart & hardworking, there is no problem to handle 4 papers!! I really think that if ur foundation is strong (eg. for part 2 papers, do u obtain 65+ marks?), there is no problem.

I observed tht those manage to get Good marks in Earlier papers have no problem in passing ACCA.

How's the pay ?? Mind share??

I still remember that Parmindar said bad things about FTMS, eg. FTMS don't pay the lecturers salary on time, so he left FTMS (he once is a FTMS lecturer).

Now, he went back to FTMS !?

I hust wan to said , IF SOME OF U NOT SURE WHETNER CAN PASS THE OPTIONAL PAPERS OR NOT, just don't take the core paper tuition class yet.

for FTMS, there is a "catch up class" after the ACCA result release.

I personally join FTMS revision class, its good !! But, I m not very adapt to their teaching style since I do not take their normal class. (HUGE DIFFERNCE from what TARC lecturer teach)

I would said (might be higher to non-accounting job)...
Even Sales Promoter in Supermarket earn more than account clerk

Does ACCA recognised by government ?? Is it equivalent with degree in the view of government??[/b]
If I wan to teach secondary school or become tutor or work in government field, is it possible with ACCA since I don't have any Degree??

[I got one friend always got 70+ marks even in part 3 papers.

She won the first prize(Malaysia) for paper 3.4, & she cry because she felt sad by getting 68 "low" marks in paper 3.2

She pass her core papers in one attempt, she told me that her result very bad (don't wan to mention her exact marks).... but I heard her best friend said she got two papers 60+, one paper exactly 70 marks.

I told my mother about her story, my mother said :" see la, people get at least 60+, u go to fail... ur result is getting worse, from top to bottom

When is the exam result release date?? I lose my ACCA card, how to apply back? The charge?

i HOPE i can pass, bcause I really didn't put much effort on studying ACCA !!

Internal paper 3.5 is teach by who this time ??
Last year, a lot of students (some good students too) fail paper 3.5 despite the paper is actually not that tough !! So, pay attetnion on TARC paper 3.5, the lecturer is a little bit insane.... Don't know how to teach, dare to give me a "D"

External paper, I fail paper 3.5, but at least I get 48 marks, but internal paper this teacher give me "D"!!

I already receive my result , pass paper 3.4 (the only paper I opt for)
I m damn lucky the paper come out easy since I m so late to the exam hall due to traffic jam.
Quite shocked I pass !! The mark too embarrased to said (less than 60)......

Ya, U are TARC student .

Go for UK degree if wan to join into big accounting firm/ commercial company !!
And at least get a 2nd upper class.

with advanced Diploma result, u still can join big4, but at a lower salary, RM500 lower than degree/ACCA student provided u have a CGPA above 3.00.

I would said Advanced Diploma result is quite handicapped to get a good pay job...

Sorry, I did not opt for it !! But, I heard my friend said they only pick a few UK candidates to take the English test. And Its quite Easy I heard, with ur English proficiency, sure can pass la!!
Frankly, I think RM35,000 is too expensive to get a degree.

Can ACCA qualification recognised by Public UNiversities like UM, USM to get a Master Degree in these Universities ?? Forget about expensive UK Universities... I really don't think I should invest too much $$ in accounting study

So u mean this June Sitting ?? Or Next Dec'07 Sitting??

If by Quoting IAS 12, got additional mark ?? If not, got penalty ??
