Better to secure urself with OBU, coz part 3 is very tough to pass. I think it is simple just complete ur thesis and send to ACCA msia. But further detail i duno yet, lets complete part 2 only think ^^

2day in f7, joe fang taught until page45(proposed div). he said until here, it shouldn't b too difficult for students. so i dun think it will b too hard to cope

P1 sound like audit to me but my lovely lec make it clear that it is not

so a bit confuse here and there...feel really like sitting for old syllabus

paper 2.6 in the class...a bit boring but still have to bear with it...

no i am not taking P3 this sitting. i am only taking P1 and P2. both fulltime class at Mc Orange.

hmm, regarding Joe Fang's class, i suppose it's a good approach for those who like Q & A format of notes, i don't find anything theoretical to read, no IAS, IFRS... strange, whereas Goh Wern Yit's notes has loads of theories in it & new notes almost every single class...

anyway, would love to see what Joe Fang can do to make me know what i'm learning, rather than hearing about the latest movies in cinema & his 'Behind The Scene' & 'The Making Of... (movie)'

i'm sure it'll be a tiring week this week... today is already something, this Sat with Philip Woo as well... wahaha...

perhaps you can take a look at setapak area (ie: prima setapak condo, pelangi condo, setapak ria condo, desa setapak area etc). there are many students house available. it just takes you around 30 mins to town by bus.

me myself is staying at taman miharja (miharja LRT station). very convenient. just 15 mins travel time to town by LRT.

wow,so fast one u post it already till now,u are the only one that i met through Lowyat..others might be only shadow lowyat members,looking and staring when it rains,after resume back at 2pm,around 45minutes later,i started to feel sleepy..aiyoo,toyota..toyota 22august are still long way to go..hm,b4 that,lets enjoy the 1st term first,and later,hopefully the current timetable wouldn't be re-scheduled..

maybe in f7, computation has more marks allocated on it... dats y more emphasis is given on computation than theory...well, dats my assumption...hope it's correct

can i take p2 and/or p3 before taking p1? anyone knows?

so blur and dunno anything about it hehe...

yea, it was a bit tiring at the end, maybe the digestion of food comes into play

can't help it... but after class it was sardines Q-ing up waiting for the lift... then everyone rushed home...

now at least i'm enjoying the P3 class, tomorrow we have class again, hahaha... sleepy... need to catch some good amount of sleep after watching F1 just now ... hahaha

well, maybe the rest of the LYN members are SHY to meet up, or probably some people prefer to draw the border between REAL-LIFE friends & NET friends... don't know ^^

well, indeed computation is the emphasis, that's true... somehow we need to know the IAS & IFRS as well though, there's a question fully theory... probably it's due to the fact that i'm a person who likes theory more... haha

but need to put in more effort myself, can't really rely 100% on lecturers & blaming them... they only help us with understanding the subject easier... since we don't get so detail by just reading or practicing the Qs...

therefore i'm taking P3 now while i skip P1 & P2 & the 2 optional first... lol

but i believe IAS n IFRS r important especially for P2 in da future...


a lots depends on us 2 do well...motivation n hard work all come from us...hopefully we get enuf guidance from lecturers...so gud luck 2 all of us

yea, i am not too strong with computational stuffs, always feel pressured with the formats & steps... therefore i like theory, i guess P1 to P3 will be something fun... but need more work to achieve a good result

err.. u sure with wat ur writing..?? "Professional Scheme" means the whole 14papers of ACCA.. i think u might trying to mean "Professional level" (part 3) rite..?? Anyway, i do not agree.. ACCA has clearly stated that student need to attempt module by module which means it is compulsory to complete essential module (P1-P3) first before reading optional module (P4-P7)..

Yest went for F9 Jeremy French class at PAAC, full day class, suprising our lecturer had browsed thru this forum & took remendy on the problem of "no stall open around on Sun".

Very impressive with his way of looking at the problem arised and try to solve it.

As what Mr. Jeremy said "we try to make life easy in paac here!"

Conclusion : others than syllabus, u can learn the little tiny thing u observe from ur lecturer too, thier good attitude & style of teaching ( humour or joke too.....for those who interested to become an educationalist in future)

i'm not sure whether subjects in part 3 must be taken in order or not. but in my opinion it is advisable to take P1 1st because it has the ethics stuff...and ethics r incorporated in other P3 papers if im not mistaken...correct me if i'm wrong
