Thanks for ur info. Now I m in a dilemma for P1, P3 & P5. Attended Mr Goh's class b4 for 2.6 & luckily pass at 1st sitting. Only can rmbr the AEIOU which he mentioned all the time. He is a nice person but for P1...

For P3, heard fr my fren tat Mr Marcus tends to jump fr one topic to another, n then bac to the topic again, so very confuse. But, he will cover a lot of techniques not cover by any other colleges, is tat true? Wil help in exam?

For P5, my fren said Mr Michael so so only, Ms Geetha dunno wor, coz never attend her class b4.

How about Ms Kiran at Sunway University College? And where can i get the latest Sunway timetable for Part 2?

They seem like very inefficient, till now also haven post their timetable on the college website. The worst is when i call them, the staff told me tat the timetable is not ready yet.

oh...as u can see below the timetable, there are 2 lecturers teaching F8. so (J) stands for Jackson Chan, while (W) stands for Phillip Woo.

Hence F8 AB (J) means it's Jackson's class ^^

Attend Simon's class b4 for my 2.3 n score 71 marks for 1st attempt. He is talkative n friendly. His lectures are easy to understand. There is a balance btwn class lectures n doing qns, not like Chow Chee Yen, which only focus on lectures during normal days n do qns only at revision classes for 3.2. You can consider.

Never attend Ms Rozi or Ms Pushpa classes b4, so can't advice.

Maybe they scare tat ppl wil attend the class without paying the tuition fees 1st. Normally, they wil check for receipt durin the 1st three classes...really biz minded...I think if go there personally then only know the time table.

Never attend Ms Kiran's class b4 so dunno.

Some of the papers in acca skill module (part2) are very similar to CAT advance level.. Im from CAT too and just finish my part2, so would be able to give some opinion based on my experienc.. Out of 6papers in skill module, there are two totally new papers which CAT does not study (unless u studied all 3optional papers in CAT). Therefore, if you to try 3papers for this sitting, the best combination would be 2 old papers which u studied in CAT + 1 new paper so that u would be able to learn old things in details and new papers too..

In both ur cases, F4 might be a good recommendation. This paper only requires memory work..

Such a credit transfer is normal for acca student, need not to launch a 'credit voucher'.. College should have ur record of the 'advanced payment', so just come n register for next sitting and you should not have any problem for this.. They got so many accountants, such double entry to CR creditor they ll knoe how to put in.. haha.. Need not to worry..

Haneef's ex-student here.. Its true hez so slow in teaching, but that means hez teaching so details here n there for the students to have good knowledge and he hates student memorizing.. Anyway, therz no teaching style which suit all student.. Opinion therfore may differs..v

Out of sunway, i think mcO is the one leading in term of acca part 3 (especially in pricing term too).. Their Mr. Michael (P3) from LCA, UK seems like making them shine..

Erm, P1 i afraid to give opinion is impossible since its new.. However, i would just like to tell u that Ms. Sheila from McO has previous experience in teaching similar paper in CIMA.. For student information, CIMA has brought such ethics paper 10yrs ago and ACCA now only start doing so.. ahem... bit slow perhaps..

yaya, ur considered as a sunway student....hahaha...im ur junior....bt i tink ACCA students r all d same...v all bear the same spirit...ACCA spirit...regardless of wic colleges v r studying in....i personally tink tat McO is quite gud..KSA oso gud...

But, because of accomodation and transportation prob, i terpaksa stay wf sunway wic provides my accomodation ma...hehe...n most importantly, no nid 2 travel so often.
summore, sunway has a resourceful library oso..hehe...But d problem is so obvious = 2 expensive....YEAP...2 expensive...

but, if d passsing rate is higher ther, i tink its worth 2 study ther bcoz if v ourselves hv put in our effort + peer pressure over ther + lecturers' pressure, d chances for us 2 pass d exams r higher oso....all correlated...IMO...

Fail + resit will mk d cost even higher....COST vs benefit..time wil b wasted oso...+ it wil demotivate us 2..im not saying tat other colleges r nt gud...but for outstation students, i tink sunway is d best choice...try grab prizes in other colleges then sunway wud prob offer u scholarship 2 study in sunway...GARY ho??
