not so much valuable techniques.. some short sumary based on wat i remembered:
1. must do the online ethic thinggy..
2. if got time, download the combined code n read it..
3. read current biz newz..
4. in the requirements, take note of the "and" to make sure u answer two parts in one requirement..
5. dun waste easy earned prof marks..
6. answer length for 3marks should be about a third of a page..

thats all i can remember.. heee...

I think most of u have the same confusion.. Plz allow me to clarify here..

Plz do not mess up VARIANT and STREAM, it has different implication..

VARIANT is for tax and law papers only.. Since law are varies from country to country, there are quite significant differences in different variances.. You may only choose MYS or UK variant (xcept u wan spore or others country).. There is no such thing as "international variant".!!

STREAM is for accounting (F7, P2) n audit papers (F8, P7).. You may choose MYS or international stream, well it makes no different since malaysia follows IFRS (international standard) except for very few circumstances which is not examinable.. So whatever stream u choose, makes no different (except for seat allocation during exam), just depends either u prefer IAS and FRS(M) or ISA and AI in the case of audit papers..

Other papers like costing n finance do not have any variant or stream.. The box in ur exam registeration (INT and MYS) is meant for u to choose the stream.. "if you wish to change your selected variants you should notify acca in writing when you send ur examination entry form" quoted from acca..

As said, the initial INT that you saw is meant to be "international stream", which only applies to accounting n audit papers.. your variant will fixed even when u register to acca as student.. however, u may wish to change ur variant by writing (if exam entry by postage) or when u registering exam online (just below the link of chosing the exam centre).. Those boxes for you to thick (INT and MYS) are streams..

Hi.. Im not sure ur asking which tax paper, but i shall assume u asking adv taxation rite.? since ur ckw main supporter..

Anyway, the paper was quite fair.. But, first time under richard that he wrote an articles in oct n it didnt out.!! All tips didnt come out as well.. Questions really all emphasis on theory n explaination alot, computation consist of bout 15marks only of the paper.. Some questions (Q2, Q3) quite indirect n im not too sure wat he wan us to answer.. overall, i think ok.. conclusion, never spot anything in acca, especially this paper.. haiz..

exam time 3.15-6.15pm
