What is so big deal about Micro Genius?

It is just one of the many 8-bit NES clones out there during the early 90's.

I guess most ppl at that time owns a micro genius rather than a nintendo 8 bit console

Familiar..coz i still own micro genius till now..hehe. But no time 2touch it since haven't finish my final year. Miss those time playing TMNT3 in that console

wahahah dunno why buy i got a nes and also micro genius too.
maybe nes game too exp tat go for famiclone for cheaper game?

when i had micro genius dat time, i really hate the controller. so stiff and hard. play few hours, sure my thumb will have a 'bubble' there.

I dun own Micro Genius, but some ciplak China-made clone one that's shaped like a Famicom, plus another clone called "Bit 70" which since died.

Ah, I remember playing Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, Mario 2, Battle City, Islander (name given to Adventure Island by Hudsonsoft by those 999999 in 1 *ahem* cart makers), Contra. A lot of old faves.

Not so pleasant memories include my sister hogging the thing for hours straight to play Tetris, and my mom doing the same thing for "Mahjong 2".

If I not mistaken I got my first clone in 1990, then oni 10 years old

Oh how I hated the controller while playing Street Fighter 2. Ninja Gaiden and Contra r0x0rz.

Street Fighter 2 got NES/Famicom version? Must be ultra rare. Oni played a China pirate called "Master Fighter 2". But ya, Contra r0x0rz.

I think it's called blister. I had one when I played Goal Storm back in 1998. Thanks to today's analog stick, no more blister.

oh, so Micro Genius was from Nintendo???

If it is then MG is my first Nintendo console

The 1st Final Fantasy i played was actually on the Micro Genius.
Since the game was all in Japanese, had to use a guide to play it but it was still fun!!
Another of my fav is the dragonball series....sort of rpg...nice

haha... my real 1st game on NES is actually super mario bros, i remember there is also one F1 racing game where ur car will explode when u knock into something or car! XD

at my place with these micro genius, bole buat bisnes, 1hour play for rm3,, ahaha ,at that time not everybody got the console,still expensive and some parent will said video game.. ape binatang tuu?? ...

wat tat sequence do? i got 1 mirco set which comes w/ a cordless gamepad, kinda cool. my first game was a 7 in 1, which include 4 circus games!

i think super mario 3 is d best game i playd on micro, DD was not bad
