im currently working during my semester break. two months contract which will end next fri.

yesterday just ask my supervisor is it possible to give me a testimonial letter, if thats what you call it. she said no prob, and will get it next week. rclxms.gif

sweat.gif some ppl said that its useless, while some say better than nothing when ur a fresh grad..duno who to trust also rclxub.gif

edit : just realised you said resign from the company. not too sure bout that. i guess i will, unless leaving the company when not in good terms. eg not on good terms with the boss and such.

i ask for testimonial too when i finished my training.. It will look good on ur resume too, my job interviewer saw my testimonial and then ask me about my training and stuff.

If u have contributed to the organisation u were with, then by all means go ahead and ask for that letter of testimonial. If u know u aren't on too great terms with your supervisor and if he's got nothing nice to say then don't.

In which case, if ur joining a new organisation and putting ur current boss as ur reference, he may still be contacted by the new company.

If I leave my current office now, I surely will ask for a letter of recommendation biggrin.gif. Then again, I thought it was a rather dumb thing for some ex-colleagues of mine to have requested for a letter of recommendation. Both his supervisor and GM refused to write him one, and in the end, it was put through to the MD and well, it wasn't too great a recommendation letter in my opinion blush.gif
