I do know that slow app launch is true, but it might be due to the eco system settings not related to the settings... Android u can disable animations, which make it to feels it is faster... I have all device on hand... Although my Windows phone is lower end type... I feel android is laggy when u use it after some time especially chat app which have great history haha... Where as IOS and Windows although u say they are laggy but their apps seldom hang or give problem... That might be my view, but I feel IOS and Windows phone isn't laggy and I do enjoy their simplicity Eco system...I just migrated into IOS ecosystem after so long using Android.
