QUOTE(OKLY @ Aug 30 2016, 12:39 PM) Yea have to agree it's not too visible unless screen display is on maximum brightness. However, this is somehow serious design/quality flaw to allow dust to enter a vital part such as the display. mine has it,but not really visible even max brightnessNow I'm thinking whether to get another replacement in hopes that it is a newer batch that Apple silently fixed this flaw. hardly can see some black dots eligible to claim for warranty? |

Copied this from another user in the other thread:
NOTES What's happening? The OTA update version might be corrupted. The update will download completely, verify prior to install, go into the Apple update screen, then crash into the "Plug into iTunes" screen. The update bar went as far as about 75% - 80%. Who is affected? So far, only iPad Pros, iPhone 6S / S+ and iPhone SEs have complained of corrupt installs. All of those who have complained used OTA updates, so it may affect more. What do I do? 1.) DO NOT USE OTA UPDATES - it's the most common culprit in the bunch. Avoid it like the plague. 2.) IF YOU ARE UPDATING, USE USB + iTUNES. Those who have been successful have used the iTunes download. Slower, but working. 3.) IF YOU ARE BRICKED - Plug into iTunes and use "Update" to clear out your problem. You don't need to do a full restore, thankfully. I've done a simple update and everything worked swimmingly. |

QUOTE(OKLY @ Nov 21 2016, 01:34 PM) Apple has determined that a very small number of iPhone 6s devices may unexpectedly shut down. This is not a safety issue and only affects devices within a limited serial number range that were manufactured between September and October 2015. I PM-ed Switch as they are the only one in Northern region ,as usual their shit attitude no reply frm them.If you have experienced this issue, please visit an Apple Authorized Service Provider and have your device's serial number checked to confirm eligibility for a battery replacement, free of charge. https://www.apple.com/my/support/iphone6s-u...pectedshutdown/ |

QUOTE(kcirdenk @ Nov 23 2016, 08:50 AM) http://www.qcd-tech.com/contact/ Yesterday they diagnosed on the spot and said im eligible , not diagnostic process but battery changing process needs 7-14 daysQCD need 3-5 days to diagnose while Switch need 7 days which i find it unacceptable lol. QCD even told me that the affected units is only a ''small number'' therefore they need to diagnose but what if after they diagnose & wont replace the battery. that's why im reluctant to send it. |
