Any tips when doing COD?

For buyers, they will avoid postage due to possible scam.

For sellers, COD will risk the other fella robbing or snatching and run away.

from my personal experience when CODing i usually do this:

-when COD (for me at least) bring a friend (or friends)

-deal at public place and a very bright place. make sure u are familiar with the place. avoid unfamiliar place and place u didnt know much about.

-never give the goods 1st. let him/her check the goods if he/she wants to but be very cautious about it. make sure he/she already have the money. if he/she need to withdraw or what ever, keep ur goods to urself. dont let him/her took it with them... in ANY circumstances....

-try remember his/her face, save his/her phone number. if can get to know his/her car/bike he/she rides. on COD its better to have his number rather than just PM/email. this is to ensure that if anything happens, u can forward the number to the authorities.

-be early to the COD place. this is to avoid being careless when u arrive late. careless means u will tend to be a scatterbrain and conmen/conwomen will take advantage.

-just be cautious on ur surroundings. sometimes conmen/conwomen will have their partner in crime with them nearby

well if this all fails then report to the police. at least u have the phone number/car/bike plate number and it'll be easier for police to catch them.

anyways to the guy who got rob, im sorry to hear that. its really hard to see our hard earn money to be rob easily by this conmen/conwomen.
