Seng heng or Harvey norman ok o not?
*
Define Ok?

The phone comes in a box which is sealed.

You can checked thoroughly before you purchase.

If really phobia or worry, just get from apple store online.

Less headache and directly ship to you.

Never so far. You used ori charger and cable? Anyways, did you guys read about the lady who got electrocuted using her phone while charging? Very scary. Wonder what phone it is...

http://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2016...charging-phone/
*
By far my experience =

iPhone 3GS = Never received any form of electrocution before.
iPhone 4 = ^
iPhone 4S = ^
iPhone 5 = ^
iPhone 6S+ = ^

But during my short tenure of using Android phones, I did get a little shock once ( as the phone's casing was fully "metal" back then ). It happens to 2 of my previously owned Android phones before I left for good.

You should really get a tempered glass screen protector =P

The only way you can void your iPhone's warranty prematurely is by doing either one of this:-
1) open the enclosure and tempered with the internals; or
2) you accidentally submerged/dropped your iPhone into water.

Either one (1) of the aforesaid causes will void your warranty disabling you from claiming under "manufacturer's defects".

There is no way in hell, Apple is going to entertain you for a warranty claim for a crack display because it's normal wear and tear not due to the manufacturer. You are deemed to have purchased a perfect condition iPhone.

Let me share with you my friend's experience. He went and bought a brand new 5S from Machines and once the unwrapping is done at the centre, he noticed that there was a small bump on the side of the display, creating a small gap between the display and the body. He immediately submit for a claim and guess what, he got a refurbished unit. That pisses him off quite a bit.

So, what he did was paying RM2,199.00 for refurbished unit laugh.gif
*
If open on the spot, can refuse to accept due to manufacturer defect laugh.gif

If open, accepted then go home and come back complaint tomorrow, maybe no chance for 1 to 1 already.

Last time I purchased an iPhone from Telco, I opened another box after the 1st phone outta box has a small chip at the back.

No questions asked, no problem.

hi, i just collected my iphone from mac city one utama. During waiting, heard a conversation from another customer. Her screen slightly crack. They don't change @ repair part by parts, they will exchange for you with additional price of almost 2k (if i'm not mistaken about rm1900)

the lady only having small crack on her screen (she's using ip6s+)
*
Time for her to invest in an IMOS laugh.gif

oooo...tapi i scare normal screen protector not as strong as tempered glass??

didnt have any good tempered glass that actually fit nicely??? any sifu can recommend???
*
Can try the usual famous one.

Imos, Spigen and etc.

Most of them works fine but if you're using Imos, be prepared to lose out on casings as not many casings can fit the thickness of the IMOS.

I'd go for IMOS despite losing out on majority of the casings out there.

It's just for my peace of mind.

I rather save myself from the hassle tbh.

Get a new one, less headache and can claim warranty.

Much easier.

Hi guys, I'm officially an Iphone 6s Plus 128GB Silver user. Bought it for RM2600. Body condition 10/10, Screen 9/10, the screen scratch already covered by a cheap tempered glass.  biggrin.gif

Still waiting for my Ringke Fusion Case. Any recommended full covered tempered glass, if available?

IMOS for best protection.

Other brands for value for money.

You can change it at non certified apple stores. However, you risk losing TouchID. How's how it is.
*
Yeah, I have a friend who lost their touch ID when replacing the battery or screen.

If you are a frequent user, don't risk it.

Changing battery doesn't void TouchID, not as far as I know lah. Haha
*
When replacing the battery, you'll need to remove the connector from the touch ID to the part near the battery.

No idea why but it happened b4.
