Its been screen flashing for couple of months (when using the on off button), i thought its due to wallpaper or something. Even the wallpaper or certain page drops or move to half of the page before, i thought im doing too many activity @ multitasking. Few weeks before, fail to charge and i thought due to the charger not original

1st Update @ 6th May

This is really weird, thinking of sending to apple service center but this morning when i turn on the iphone, guess what........ Its working fine!!!! 😱😱😱😱

Going for vacation, bringing this baby together.. Sending it to service center once im back (cant miss to shoot great photos 😅

2nd Update @ 9th May

Went to Mac City Service Center @ OU yesterday. Snapping photo very nice & no lines appeared. But the touch screen running by itself. Restart the iphone couple of times. No more weird lines appeared but something else happen

Iphone still have warranty, so if worst come to worst 1 by 1 exchange or if its due to software issue, need to pay rm50 only. Process in 4-5 days

the screen runs by itself even without touching it or cable/connector inside

3rd Update

Just received an email from Mac City

IT IS A HARDWARE issue but iPhone's LCI triggered due to liquid damage , it is not covered under warranty as this kind of issue would not happen under normal usage conditions. This is considered as accidental damage

Seriously don't understand. It is not cheap though to pay another RM1700!!!!!

no.. but they claim it might be due to tiny miny liquid which cause it happen

Mac City advised me to call Apple & i did. Apple now is going to investigate & will come back to me by tomorrow

Hope that it can be exchange without causing any charge

so sad

I just did & just only fwd the report & quote to Apple

They replied that they are going to investigate more & will get back to me by tomorrow.

p/s: i send to Mac City last weekend, they checked & asked where do i bought this unit because it is not Malaysian unit. I told it is lucky draw (actually bought from the seller in this lyn). So they told, this unit might not warranty covered due to oversea. Then they checked agains the EMEI. After checked, he told the warranty still valid & they can help to claim the warranty

I heard that too , thanks. Hope to get it solve

4th update

Received a phone call from Apple, they told there is a 3 spot's area where they found 'water damage' @ water patch

I insisted that i took care of my item properly & more over i keep the iphone in the water resistant casing.

So, she told she can give me one time exception to service the iPhone (means exchanged but only phone, not full set with box). They replacing with exactly the same unit 128gb of ip6s BUT Japan unit (my phone is Japan's unit). They asked me do i have simcard to activate the phone. Damn!!! I cant fly all the way to Japan just to activate the phone right?

Any advise?

p/s: good news, but still finding solution

Yes faulty unit is Japan unit

Once I have the unit, I will try the step

Apple did try to help by giving a link (which is believe can unlock the set)

exactly, mine shutoff at 30% as well. But workings well when plugged in charger
