QUOTE(kaspersky-fan @ Dec 10 2015, 12:57 AM) I was shocked when I saw that new release from Apple... It feels like their design department has now been handled by retards not knowing the fundamentals of a good design. First is the lightning port position on new Magic Mouse. Then this one... Yucks! Hah, you should see Rene Richie's review of it on iMore. The man is a buaya artist, I tell you. Should find a job in Najib's cabinet. Honestly speaking, Apple were never really that good at making peripherals. Difference is, in the past it was more of a reliability issue. Now it's design. For me, their biggest goof in the last couple of years has to be an ergonomic one - the location of sleep/wake button in relation to the volume buttons. Putting the two opposite to each other is basically a schoolboy error in industrial design.

QUOTE(attw @ Dec 12 2015, 10:39 AM) Yesterday was a public holiday so my wife and I unplugged our phones from the chargers at the same time and when it was time to call it a night, our usage was pretty similar so it was a good opportunity to compare battery life: - I don't know you or your wife, but I think can tell which screenshot belongs to whom just based on the apps listed.

QUOTE(DonDropUrSoap @ Feb 4 2016, 11:30 PM) erm... Got ppl unable to update apps? I keep press update all and Like nth happen It happens sometimes. Just wait a few hours or a day and it should be back to normal. If that doesn't work, then here's a tip I learned from a support forum; First, force quit all your background apps (double press Home and swipe up). Then, go to Settings > General > Language & Region > iPhone Language (as of iOS 9.2.1) and change the language to something else - eg: if it's set to English US, change it to English UK. Your screen will then go dark for a few seconds while iOS updates the language settings. Then after that, change back to your preferred language (or leave it if you're fine with using the alternative language) and exit Settings. Launch the App Store again and try downloading/updating your apps now. It's worked for me a few times whenever I had this problem even after waiting a few days. No idea what the language settings have to do with app downloads/updates. Truly strange, but according to the support threads I've read it really does solve the issue for a lot of people. QUOTE(ex24dec02 @ Feb 24 2016, 11:10 PM) Anyone encounter slow download from appstore using unifi connection? I'm currently in Singapore and experiencing slow App Store and iTunes downloads from both my fiber and cellular lines. Maybe it's a regional issue, or possibly a problem on Apple's side this time? many Members here had a lot of problems with App Store connectivity/speeds and Unifi a few months ago and started this thread; https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3679608 so maybe you can post there. Also, it's a good idea to report to TM's twitter channel. You'll usually get better response compared to calling the 100 hotline. This post has been edited by G-17: Feb 25 2016, 12:32 AM

QUOTE(iceandmilo @ Mar 6 2016, 07:55 AM) Performance wise was rocketly fast but coming over from a whole time android user to iOS it was totally two different WORLD! I don't know where to download music, everything seems to be restricted as well and I got the 16gb.... Any advices to overcome that low storage problem? It would be helpful! Yeah, you really need iTunes installed on your desktop if you want to transfer music and videos to be played in the iOS Music or Videos app. It's a pain. One solution would be to use a file manager app that has it's own built-in media player and wi-fi file transfer. I use Documents 5 but there are many others. Useful if you use an OS that iTunes doesn't support (like Linux) or simply don't like the clunky iTunes desktop app, plus it's just a lot more convenient. You can just wifi transfer files from your PC (provided iPhone and PC are on the same wifi network) and play the tunes in the built in media player. It also has a built-in browser so you can copy paste links from Safari or chrome and have it download the files to a folder or your choice. Also has a download progress bar, unlike Safari. Audio quality is basically the same as the iOS Music app, and it also works with bluetooth streaming (I use it in the car all the time). Do take note that the supported file formats are a bit limited - it can play mp3, m4a, alac, wav, but doesn't play flac or ogg. There are also other players out there that are more specialized, with their own audio engine and support for more file formats, but you'll have to search yourself. For videos, if you have a lot of mkv files, you can try VLC or Infuse.
