The one that give a lot of problems is refurbished by unknown.
By Apple itself, well, all's confirm original, under warranty, perfect but used/changed parts.

I've used refurbished from Apple twice, all's good no problem at all.

This is why people need to know more between this two. A lot of seller selling refurbished unit but not by Apple. When asking, they will said all's confirm original.
After few months, screen started to bleed / yellowish or battery depleted faster.

I know you want to give an advice to him. I just add more details why it is bad to buy refurbished unit from 3rd party.

Any phone doesn't offer worldwide warranty. But Singapore set can be claim in MY.

There are a lot of tweaks i cant list it here. It's far better than rooted Android because it have it's own Cydia to download tweak. If Android you need to flash this and that, a hassle for me.
