Hey guys, i updated the 6s to 9.3.2 few days back. Yesterday while i was charging my phone til 97%, my screen went black and even after a force restart,  it was still black. Anyone have this problem? I did not drop my phone nor do i wear tight clothing.

Is there any response when connected to PC?

If i try to connect to iTunes, it says the phone is protected by passcode, which i cant enter since the screen is black

Have you tried the DFU method?

Hold the Power button for 3 seconds
Hold the Home button without releasing the Power button for 10 seconds

Tried it, nothing happens. Im worried my screen is faulty. But if this is the case, the screen is not covered by warranty right?
*
Hmm, that's weird. It does covered by warranty because it's not user caused damage.

Are you sure? Based on experience, if we use itunes to restore the iOS and you selected the incorrect ipsw file for your iphone, it'll prompt you that the wrong file is selected and you can't continue.
*
Yeah, that's what she told me. or probably she removed the cable in the middle of restoring? I'm not sure either what she actually done with it. sweat.gif

Then pls get the facts right before sharing. You can't brick an iPhone with incompatible Ipsw file. Itunes won't let you

QUOTE
Installing stock iOS on a device with a preserved baseband
Early unlock solutions could result in unusable (but recoverable) phones after installing an iOS update if you didn't take special steps. For people who used redsn0w to install the iPad baseband (06.15.00) on a compatible iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS so that they could use ultrasn0w to carrier unlock it, upgrading or restoring iOS using "stock" (normal) IPSWs would make the phone unusable - until you made and restored a "custom" IPSW without a baseband update (instructions), and then reinstalled the iPad baseband using redsn0w. Avoiding doing a stock upgrade/restore (upgrading or restoring iOS using a "custom" IPSW) avoided this problem.

Well, iPhone which has preserved baseband will brick (but fixable) using stock IPSW file.

Pls don't just Google stuff and reply.
What I mentioned is just pure facts

The one is quote some more is during those earlier gens of ios (3gs pls la) so no one knows if those baseband terminologies still applies now.
*
Well, she's using 3gs back then .
