Got this custom made 304 stainless steel "Oil Spill Guard" (or what do you call this?) today from Taobao shipped using sea shipment.

It fits well between my hob and hood, looking good for total protection.

I just got this yesterday, so not yet cleaning it because it is still new

Cooking freedom sure will be limited by a bit, but the first time cooking with this guard installed still alright for me.
I am living in condo, so kitchen space is limited.

Sometimes frying only, such as hash brown, sausage, fry eggs.
Even though not frying, when put ikan bilis or bawang putih the oil will spill out, although not as much as frying.

Due to my kitchen is small, there are things that put quite near to my hob, sometimes I do see oil getting onto things nearby the hob.

My concern is not the food that flying out, just the oil.

So far I didn't notice any difference with smoke before and after the oil spill guard installation, guess my hood is doing great job

Glass I scare pecah, and if do glass, the glass is fixed.
This stainless steel panel can be folded and can be removed and keep if don't plan to use in the future, so it is flexible for me.

Was using the Taobao official Lazada sea shipping.

That was last time where you can choose Lazada sea shipping.
Now don't have such option, only Cainiao sea shipping provider.

It has been two years now, and my kitchen sink is still looking good, and working as expected, no rust.

The sink was around RM620, shipping fee around RM230, maybe last time I have mistake in my calculation.

Sink and shipping fee has gone down in price from what I see now.

Whichever choice you have made, just make sure the sink is made of 304 stainless steel, and buy from reputable seller.

Sea shipping fee for a 31KG item cost around RM165, from the 3rd party forwarder that I am using now:

So if you get a double bowl 304 SS kitchen sink using RM500 (which high likely you can get it), along with 31KG shipping fee, you only have to spend around RM665.
