Folks, for those with USD holdings, has anyone tried using Citibank ? If you keep USDs in Citibank, will you be able to withdraw the USDs in any Citibank branch worldwide ? https://www.citibank.com.my/english/deposit...TimeDepositFNCY

QUOTE(bbgoat @ May 15 2016, 08:54 AM) I have CB acct. I know that u can send the USD online between Citibank accts in Malaysia and the other person with Citibank acct in U.S. But did not ask about CB acct in other countries. Likely can also. But as to your withdrawal, u mean cash or online transfer ? Likely able to if you use the CB bank card. Best to confirm with CB. Call them up esp if u are Citigold customer. Okay thanks, will contact them to find out. I was asking primarily for online transfer but also cash if possible.

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Jun 17 2016, 12:31 PM) Analysts say Bank Negara Malaysia’s new methodology of spot fixing for the US dollar/ringgit will reduce bank collusion in fixing ringgit rate, while making it more market-driven. http://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/category/...git-volatility/So this means that exchange rates at banks will be better after the new methodology kicks in ? I'm just wondering, why use this system only for the USD/MYR exchange and not for all RM pairs with major currencies ?
