unfortunately u mobile coverage not as good as maxis/celcom

By looking at the numbers, most likely huge portion of the sample is taken from speedtest done in Klang Valley

coverage and stability I choose Celcom, speed I choose Maxis for 4G+ device, Maxis still no 4G in most kampung area

i rather get 5mbps in all towns at malaysia than getting 100mbps at KV only...

Maybe all umobile staff everyday 100 times do speedtest at their 100mbps office?

I believe the results are based on average speeds throughout Malaysia. Bear in mind though that majority of U Mobile users are in Klang Valley only while other areas are usually using the other big three telcos. No to forget that the user base for the big three is bigger as well so that can be another factor when speed test results are based on average.

it really depends on area la! maybe just that area UMobile is good... others it is not..

try to test out celcom 4G in celcom area. sunway piramid...

My area in Kota Damansara (Section 5) can get till 120Mbps for Celcom 4G LTE. An average speed I will get roughly around 110-118 Mbps.

U Mobile did 1 page ad on NST newspaper on tis Ookla Speedtest result.

Ookla speedtest.. I dun think veli expensive..
Simple.. just give free telco service to all staff in Ookla then they do such survey

what I know 1 page ad on newspaper cost around 30k to 80k..

Based on the poll, majority choose maxis.
I just port out from maxis recently due to DiGi plan seems attractive.
Maybe in future will port other number to maxis, if they offer better plan.

Wow really? I'm using U Mobile and so far it's network quality is comparable to major 3 telco. Probably the reason is I'm staying in Klang Valley

even you stay in Klang Valley.. u will still travel to outstation once in the blue moon..

I use Umobile. was personally shock of the result. because Umobile connectivity was extremely poor in Selangor.
So poor that it can never connect to Ookla speedtest. so i cant even send in my poor connection result.

What for highest speed but not stable and intermittently disconnect

I'm always on the move and have used Maxis and Celcom before. I cannot deny that Maxis' 4G network is pretty stable among the telcos in Malaysia while Celcom's plan is much more affordable and offers a strong 3G network.
