QUOTE(lucaswjk @ Jun 21 2016, 03:38 PM) hehehe anything u wan to know? --- even they open, u still have to hike another 1.5hrs minimum... and since the road is icing, u might need to spent up to 2.5hrs on the top of the mountains, i saw a hiker bring their own bunsen burner & coffee seeing them drink the coffee, this is really first class enjoyment and try the town super spicy ramen after the hike, u will appreciate it mayb sake too based on my routes that I want to cover.. is there any where else u want to suggest i should go that is nearby or i shud skip? |

QUOTE(lucaswjk @ Jun 21 2016, 05:12 PM) -- thanks for the advise. luckly last minutes managed to poison 1 guy fren to follow us. hahahahfeel like onsen trip but the furano route is abit odds, waste lot of time and u dont hv jozankei -- (alternative) for scenic summer vacation, (summer fruit, sunflower, lavender, zoo) you might wan to make a loop at central hokkaido furano -> biei -> asahikawa -> hokuryu -> sapporo -> otaru mayb u can squeeze jozankei (1/2day?) for some onsen --- with car, everything is very convenient after 4pm the sky will like 7pm here... 4:30=>8pm @nite, road also no street light... only cat eyes raining and fog is also very scary but the most scaring thing is icing road, with or without experience it will be very dangerous take care will avoid driving after 4pm. they do provide snow tyres for us. hopefully everything manageable. why la night no street light.. haiyoo |

QUOTE(michlove @ Jun 24 2016, 10:48 AM) I saw someone recommended Jozankei onsen to you...honestly, for me, it was boring...nothing much to see there except going for the onsens. The bus journey for one way was about 1hour++. If you're not into onsen, maybe can skip this. Head to the nearest ski resort if you wanna see snow i.e. Kiroro Snow Resort. If you really want an onsen experience, then Noboribetsu would be a better alternative nahh i dont think im going to jozankei onsen. place that we book at wakkanai, shiretoko an sounkyo already got onsen. for noboribetsu also not going coz not enuf time. Day 1 - airport to [U]Asahikawa[U] Day 2 - [U]Wakkanai[U] Day 3 - Abashiri/Bihoro, Lake Tofutsu, [U]Shiretoko[U] Day 4 - [U]Shiretoko[U] Day 5 - Lake Kusharro, [U]Sounkyo[U] Day 6 - [U]Sounkyo[U] Day 7 - Biei, Blue Pond, Furano, Shikotsu Lake, [U]Otaru[U] Day 8 - Cape Kamui, Kutchan, [U]Sapporo[U] Day 9 - [U]Sapporo[U] Day 10 - fly back KL |
