Went to Japan twice and visited there both times and bought a few of those figures back. 
Its definitely one of those places to visit if you like these kinda stuffs. I was a bit malu malu when I first stepped in but when I saw old dudes and teenagers browsing around together like it was just some normal grocery store, I was malu no more. Spent hours just on 1 or 2 floors.

Itinerary:
Sunday: Arrived Kansai Airport - Late Afternoon. 7pm
Monday,Tuesday: Around osaka: Osaka Amazing Pass
Wednesday: USJ
Thursday: Kyoto - Day Trip - Kansai Thru Pass
Friday: Nara - Day Trip - Kansai Thru Pass
Saturday: Flight Back

Need opinion on the itinerary and pass selected.
Also please recommendation on accommodation. Easy access to public transport. Budget around 5,000 yen. 2pax.

Sakuranomiya park is actually on east side, if u want to walk under sakura tree, that is the place
If you wish to use ur Osaka Amizing pass for Osaka Suijyo Bus(Aqua-Liner), you have to go opposite of the park (west).
the entrance is in front of OAP tower.

if u access by sakuranomiya station, after walk out from Exit 1, turn right
walk all the way to T-junction, at ur left hand site got a lawson, buy bento and have meal inside the park under sakura tree

My Version will be Walk along river bank around Temmabashi Station.
Then Take Train to Naniwabashi Station continue enjoy the Island at middle of Osaka City (Nakanoshima 中之島).
Then from Naniwabashi Station to Nakanoshima Station).  Walk 15 minute to 中之島GATEサウスピア
Osaka newest Hit area. eat cheap seafood + Enjoy River View + Skyline.

the mix outdoor onsen view is stunning you can see Mt. Yarigadake

Based on this, I'll missed out then    last day in Kansai region is on 28th March. Hope it'll be a week earlier than forecasted
