Just want to ask a simple question. I am taking shinkansen from Kyoto to Tokyo station.

From Tokyo station, i can hoop on any local JR line without additional fee right (based on Hyperdia)? So basically when i take JR Yamanote Line and exit at Hamamatsucho station, i just go to manned gates and showed them my shinkansen ticket?

Yea, the JR Rail Pass is expensive. That's why I'm considering not to buy the JR Pass since most of the time will be in downtown Tokyo but we are planning to Hakone & Lake Kawaguchi or maybe Kamakura as well.

Based on the route map here, I saw that Suica also can be use to enter the major station in Kawaguchi & Hakone & only buy the Fuji Hakone Pass.

It's so confusing for me whether to buy the JR Rail Pass or only depend on the Suica Card while in Tokyo.

What you eat there? ramen dishes are usually below 1k and I eat those kaiten sushi belt 100 yen - 300 yen per plate.
I don't go for those expensive sushi coz I prefer malaysia's sushi haha. Japan's sushi got a very raw taste which I dunno why, Plus I already used to mix soy sauce with wasabi which I heard it's not a correct way to eat sushi.

In that shop you need eat as his way. Cannot add extra wasabi or dip any sauce. Ratio all manage by him already.

He will kick you out from shop if not follow his way.

i like soba, hand made soba is better, u should try wild duck soba(i forget the name), the duck meat is so damn nice, price at 1500 yen
i like seafood, fresh scallop, fresh oyster, spider crab, king crab
i like wagyu beef, hida, kobe, mishima, matsusaka...
i like pork, kurobuta pork...
i like fish, ayu, madai...
all this food is not cheap
after eating real japanese food, i totally not eating in msia japanese restorent
