QUOTE(RegentCid @ Dec 6 2015, 12:11 AM) Very nice scenery!! But the cherry blossom or Sakura season is bit hard to catch and one rainfall can cause all flowers gone. By the way, when is the best period to go? 1st week of April?

Hi guys. Need some advice here.
I can't decide between these 2 options for one day trip from Tokyo: 1.) Yokohama 2.) Kamakura + enoshima
Which one is more suitable for family with children? We are going on next week. Thanks in advance.

Yokohama and Tokyo very near each other and no different compare to Tokyo. It still big City with high rises. But Karakuma & Enoshima are totally different. Away from big city. No skyscraper and clean air. This post has been edited by RegentCid: Dec 6 2015, 11:13 PM

Beside See Sakura ; also can visiting Samurai houses. Ok, Lets go to Tohoku Region Akita Province. A Village call Kakunodate A.K.A Little Kyoto 3 hour Akita Shinkansen Ride from Tokyo Station to Kakunodate Station. this is really beautiful the river side look like kyoto kama river side need to put this place in wish list

So what is the idealistic plan based on my travelling dates? Appreciate the feedback as it is my first time travelling to Japan.

I stayed at Shinagawa Prince Hotel..very closed to Shinagawa Trains Station. Range budget around ¥25000 per night with 2 adult 2 kids...age 3 and 5. Its save lots of time traveling to Shibuya ,Ueno, Asakusa ..Skytree.. This post has been edited by Samurai: Dec 8 2015, 07:05 AM
