I think our timing is bad that we clash with the spring holiday break with Japan. Now at USJ packed like mad, thank god got express pass 4 or else cannot sit much ride.

Bro Human Nature suggest you to buy that as well if you plan go USJ next week as it seems until then. Or just skip it if you are alright.

The new ride flying dinosaur was ETA 500 minutes waiting time this morning around 11am and just now 4pm was about 280 minutes crazy which actually pass their operation time

I always go counter clockwise direction.
Got a reason why must go counter clock. Going Hakone one of biggest reason are see Mt Fuji. There are 2 spot that can capture Mt Fuji most beautiful angle. One at Cable Car, one at Owakudani. This 2 spot are nearer to Gora. So counter clock will be most wise.  If morning this 2 spot weather are shit. At afternoon you still can go again by using clockwise direction at Togendai.... 2nd chances.

If you starting at Hakone Yumoto using clockwise direction means u reach Owakudani and cable car section at last part and evening. If weather shit. You dont evwn have any 2nd chances anymore.

I always bring people go hakone.. I would suggest u to always catch a romance car between 9 to 9.30 am. then follow this route:

1. stop at hakone yumoto. take H bus to Moto Hakoneko
2. Have nice lunch at the many restaurants there. Tempura rice set mindblowing.
3. board the Pirate cruise ship from the Pier there. Walking distance from restaurants there and can see a big ass Shrine-ish gate
4. Get down at Togendai ko. Board the ropeway until Ubako station.
5. Ride cable car to Sounzan or Gora.
6. Take bus/touzan line back to hakone yumoto.

should finish like at 5pm  If want earlier, then try boarding the 8am romance car.

oh and yeah.. go buy the hakone free pass at 5,140 yen! If u dont take the romance car, then just take the odakyu railway until hakone yumoto. and can return using the same pass.

so quite value for money.

EDIT: eh u staying in hakone itself isit? pretty sure u wont drag until 6pm at all then.. dont have to take tozan line le.. i tink the best ones there are only the cruise ship and ropeway. others transport u can drop.

anyone book a hotel with onsen in the room before in hakone?

Anyone can give advice how to plan a 8days trip to hokkaido?

There are two entrance/exit to get to shinkansen and you should have two tickets. When you come out from the Tokyo Station Shinkansen exit, just put in your two ticket into the auto gate. Only one will come out. You are now inside the "normal train" station entrance. Just go to yamanote line and hop to the next train.  If your final stop is Tokyo station, just proceed to another exit and put in your ticket in the auto gate.
