My worse hotel stay was @ Osaka. Kinki hotel..just stone throw away from hep & umeda Osaka stn. Very good review but not us!!@$##

1st we purposely booked twin bed to get bigger bed and stupiak agoda din warn that this hotel cannot except xtra family member. Argue punya argue and too bad even I scolded them, they still smile & smile...really japanese..no other races can do this. At the end I hv to buy xtra tatami single room for 4900yen/nite in addition to my 15000 yen room..haizzz...no other hotels in other Japanese cities ever query me on xtra family member except this boutique hotel..haixzxfffzdgv

The worse thing was. They kept on insisting 2 pax max per room and no 3rd person. Even I'm willing to offer US$10 xtra to add in 1 more also they do not allow. Darnnnn. Paid for the empty room and we still stayed in 3pax in the twin bed room!

No complain on the room bcos for this trip, we insist on bigger room after our mistake on tiny cheap room during 2012 trip

From all the hotels that I hv stayed b4 in any Asian countries, this is the only one causing trouble. If they insist to hv that in the policy, they should hv mentioned in agoda! But agoda is quiet on this. Few hotels that I hv stayed esp in korea & indon just asking me to top up US$10 for xtra.

This is nonsense. I purposely search for bigger room for my family. And this is not cheap I'm paying 15kyen or rm560 for that room.

I hv been traveling for ages lah...anyway i dunwan to argue wth u & let me chk again. Most of japanese hotels actually welcome xtra pax without any charges. I'm sure I hv chk. I will lodge a complain wth agoda for sure. I'm not new wth them & been using them since early 2000.

Room lah. Per head is for hostel or those capsule hotel

Check this agoda kinki...tell me anything max per room policy impose on their website? Only when i reached the hotel, there is such signage! The only 3-5stars hotels having such policy

Not sure RC's location but I went to Prince ski Resort & factory outlet park ~ 1hr by shunkansen from tokyo heading towards nagano.

Isn't snowing in Jan & Feb is normal @ Northern hemisphere? Now is the peak of winter month b4 spring ~early to mid mar when temp slowly increase to cooling 14-20c

However since Dec & till few days ago, & probanly due to el nino, the winter seems to be weird & late with lack of snow and temperature of 10-15c i.e closer to start of spring....

That so called boutilque is just a small section at the seiyun or something dept store. There will be a small history section & those specilized kitkats that u can actually get elsewhere too at much cheaper price.

Goto those pharmacies or even opposite side of the dept store u will see 2 gigantic pharmacies as below photo. Shop there & u might able to get 190 to 200yen kit kat. Shop on the left cheaper..



BTW, those pharmacies are available everywhere in Japan and the above two are the most common & probably largest of all

Hehe. This is the part Japan losing out to Korean. Everwhere in Korea even their foodcourt and just a mere 4000-5000 won food, seldom people pay via cash. All via CC. Sumore over in korea, u either digitally sign it or tap using handphone apps. I do not see this in Japan..still conventional way using pen & lotsa places esp eateries no CC facilities.

People normally crowding that crab restaurant & also the glico man advertisement @ dotonbori for photo session instead of makan haha.
