2.i am thinking of getting a component set? wat brand match these 2 woofers?? and wat kind of amp to support the component set?

3. what is the difference between 2 channel and 4 channel of amp?? is it 2 channel is for woofer??? and 4 channel is for component sets?

1. how many watts rms do they need? DVC or SVC?

2. about the equipment matching is very subjective... i may like MTX component set but you would say they are craps... so i would recommend you to stat down your requirements, music preference and budget...

3. the difference on a 2ch and 4ch is jus the number of channels... and of cuz price...

stat down your budget, music preference so tht we can give you a list of some components and amps tht you can look into... if not then you will start to receive recommendation of some sky-rocket priced stuff...

cheers...

my budget for component is rm 500.. i like r &b, hip hop, rap.. techno.. trance..

i think each woofer need 225 rms so 2 woofer is around 450 rms

1. based on your music preference... i would recommend a monoblock... wire the subs in parrarel to achive 2ohm on the amp while each sub gets a share of the power... as for recommendation i would go for Orion HCCA, Prokicks, Helix, kicker sx series and also mtx monoblocks... get something higher than 250w rms at 4ohm... tht way when you wire them to 2 ohm you will roughly get 500w rms... head room is always better than underpowered... but too much power is suicidal...

as for component at tht price, mayb some roger's, mtx, soundstream, and some more la... these are the few tht i could think of for good mid-bass for now... and get a amp for each of them... the one i hav in mind is kicker sx series, helix should be good on them...

cheers...

if u are thinking of prokick amp, might as well as try agako amp smile.gif .....basically its made by same company only different brand......they are both local made (prokick and agako) but are good enuff and cheap.... tongue.gif

from wat I heard, a 4 channel amp would cost around RM800 from where u could use 2 channels for a comp set and 2 channels for a sub drool.gif ....but in ur case, amp for a sub would be best if use a monoblock, more kick brows.gif .....Im just giving u some options which are cheaper.... biggrin.gif

no... monoblock some can go until 4 subs depends on your wiring... the orion HCCA can go untill 4 subs if you wire all of them pararrel which would bring the amp down until 1 ohm... if you are considering monoblock for one sub then you are basically wasting your money.. better get a 2ch instead...

and as for the component tht ppl recommended you... i think you should be your own judge... cuz you are the one who will be listening to them at the end of the day... i never audited a JBL component before... but MTX to me is bright but not as bright as the alpine...

my advise is go to a shop, tell them your budget and listen to every possible pair and setup you can with your most familiar CD then you decide which one you like the most...

cheers...

Hi, i jus give some comment.. mtx is good but nowaday, many fake product.. it made abt 100% same as the product, so, beware.. JBL is a good brand, sound nice. if your budget is around 1k, i think you better dun use jbl bcos the price for jbl is high!! if u like hip hop and techno song, u need a lot of bass (depend on u). i think the 'Directed' brand not bad, price is around rm200 for 12 inch.

1k is not enough, u need to put a lot of $ if u really need the BASS..
