It's MLM.
Supplements price sky high.
Claimed to be high in ranking compare to other products.

I used to eat vitaminc, multi vits and fish oil.
Still feed sad.
Not effective at all.

Hi, I'm a USANA consumer. It's my 5th year consuming the supplements. No, I don't sell USANA products to people; it's for own consumption only.

USANA supplements are highly effective if you consume according to recommended dosage daily. I have my own personal testimonials on this and I benefit greatly from USANA supplements till today.

While some people claim that USANA products are not effective, please question them on 2 things:
1. How frequent do they consume the products? If the quantity is less than the daily RNI=recommended nutrient intake (please refer to the attached document issued by MOH), then of course the consumer will not notice any difference.

2. RNI serves as a guideline for the public to maintain general health. If a person is sick, or seeking recovery, or wish to see obvious health improvement, the dosage of required nutrients to facilitate healing and treatment should be more than usual based on medical advice or professional recommendation.

USANA supplements may be more expensive than those on sale in pharmacies, but they are worth the value for 2 main reasons:
1. USANA supplements are pharmaceutical-grade, which guarantee 99% purity in nutritional content and high bio-availability = high nutrient absorption rate by the body. Other products in the market are food-grade and usually state "intended for only general wellness use".

2. USANA products are researched and developed by scientists. USANA has a scientific advisory council and collaborates with 6 universities in research and 2 health institutions.

In short, you pay for what you get. If there are any other supplements that have the same premium quality with extensive research done, and are cheaper than USANA, I'll be happy to know and purchase them too.

As for the business side, yes, it's a direct selling company with multilevel marketing strategy. People often confuse MLM with Pyramid Scam, but that's another issue.

As my mum and relatives are in the business, they do earn some commission from product sales. There's no monthly quota to hit, although if you wish to earn from the business, you need to maintain minimum points = buy products for own consumption. For me, I don't do USANA biz, so I purchase only when I need to. There's no obligation to do sales.

How people sell products may differ; so does why people sell products. Some do it for money, some because they truly benefit from the supplements. Like my mum, whether she earns money or not, she still budgets and buys the supplements monthly because she's in her 50s and needs to maintain her health. She still looks younger than most women in their 50s.

As for my dad, when he was in his 40s, he had a nervous breakdown due to years of work stress. I remember he couldn't drive or do anything for months; that time I was Form 3. He resigned early from his job and stayed at home, and often had panic attacks and shivered frequently. I was still young that time; didn't really understand what was happening to my dad.

Then someone introduced my mum to USANA, and then my dad consumed it, and recovered after 1 month. Mum and Dad travelled to China a month later. Dad could hike a hill after that.

As for me, I currently work 12-14 hours a day and sleep only 6 hours daily. I work on Saturdays too. Normally, people feel tired if working hours are long and workload is heavy, not to mention travelling between different locations and working on weekends.

I don't experience such fatigue because of USANA. I wake up at 6.30 a.m. every day with a sharp and focused mind, and sleep around 12 midnight. Without USANA, I don't think my body can take it at all.

Just sharing with you so that you know. Whatever people say doesn't really matter. Please form your own judgement.

I was Amway user myself for more than 5 years but changed to Usana recently. I just want to try myself the differences compared to Amway.
